Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so please excuse me if this subject has been previously covered.
I have just been given an ex95 with hdderr on the display. I have opened the box and it has a Western Digital 160gb drive fitted. Can anyone tell me :-

What make of 250gb was originally fitted or if it matters
If i get and fit a replacement drive will the recorder recognise and format the drive itself or not.
