During one of the cameron/steph videos, the had a piece of music playing, I know its from the Romeo and Juliet film, but does anyone know the title/artist?

I do believe it's "Kissing You" by Des'ree.

Now, I'm appealing for help with a music query. I'm trying to find out the name of a song that was used as background music in one of the video features aired during the Big Brother finale on Friday night. The feature was the one where the friends and family of each of the finalists talked about how they felt about seeing their loved one on the show, and picked their favourite moment of the series. It was shown quite near the beginning of the first part of the show, before the first eviction.

I loved the song that was used as background music, and desperately need to know what it is. Unfotunately I couldn't make out enough of the lyrics to help me figure out what the song was. Please, if anyone remembers what it was, or if anyone has the show on tape and can check it out, could you be so kind as to tell me the name of the song and the artist?

Surely someone must have it on tape and recognises the song?

If you did tape the whole show, please have a look and see if you can identify the song.

I can't remember what it was unfortunately... but listening to the piece that was played over a clip on BBLB tonight it sounds familiar.

It was "Brad - The Day Brings", but like I said, I'm not sure whether it was the one used on BB.

If I'm wrong, I'd also like to know the one referred to above.

The only lyrics I was (possibly) able to discern were from the chorus:

Seemed to be:

"living it... short of.... magic" or

"living is....sort of....magic"

or some other combination of those words. I tried all those combinations in Google and didn't come up with anything, but if anyone thinks they may recognise the words, please let me know.

I have Friday's shows on tape, as I was out. I'm off to look and will report back.

What he said! Most of them were obscured by talking, but any words may be useful.

I've found it, but very difficult to make out the words. Definitely says "I wish" and I think "This time's for real" Will try again tomorrow when I can play it louder!

I downloaded the show from the binary newsgroup and couldn't recognise the music. Sorry.

Had another listen, could make out these words (I think)

"I wish"

"This time"

"Don't ever know"

"You can't"

"Keep me"

"A star"

I don't suppose you have the technology/software to make an mp3 or video of just that part of the show, do you?

Only if I could play it to people, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone who knew what the song was.

Sorry about that! But I'm determined to find out what it is. I just really liked the song.

I have now mailed the e-mail address on the BB site about it, but I don't know how good they are about replying, so I don't hold out much hope for them to solve the mystery.

I spliced the segment using VirtualDub and then saved it as a WAV file.
Does anybody here have a site I could upload the wav file to? It's only 759Kb (2m35) in size.

I'm pretty sure the words are something like "ooh leaving it sure is sad" or something (if you go to 1m 09s of that music)

Those lyrics would be appropriate for the event aswell.
