Which series is which????

Please can someone clear this up for me, I`m confused!
I`ve seen a couple of Apprentice programs and they refer to contestants from previous series. They said that the one with Saira Kahn and winner Tim Cambell was series 1 and the one where the winner was Michelle whats her face was series 2.
Im so sure that Michelle was the winner in the first series I`d bet a £1 on it!!

If someone could clear this up for me I`d be very grateful.

Tim Campbell won the 1st ever series, with Saira coming second

Michelle Dewberry was the winner of the 2nd series. She beat Ruth Badger in the final.

That's why some people are commenting on the pattern that girls always win even series and guys win odd ones (as in the numbers). Wierd i know!

Michelle definitely won Series 2, Tim won Series 1 with Saira second.
