I don't know whether to order the game or not.

I love Sims, have both 1 and 2, but looking at the spec required, i am a little worried, especially after reading some comments about it.

My computer has a decent spec, and has what it requires, but the computer itself is fairly slow at times, and even playing sims 2 can be a little slow at times.

Is it just my computer needs a good clear out to speed it up, or is it just a slow computer?

Mine has just turned up from Game!! WOohoooooooooOOOoooOo!
Can't play it yet tho - other half ordered a new dvd drive and that's turned up today as well, but he's at work!! GGGRRR, lol.
Our old computer wouldn't have handled the Sims 3, so he's just bought new everything apart from hard drive and monitor so I can run the Sims, awww, lol... he must be mad! LOL!

LOL, typical. I cancelled my order from Play as I didn't think it would arrive in time and decided to go to the stores on Friday instead. Now it seems that all the people who kept their faith in Play got it a day early.

Installed it and it says im playing a non final un-authorized copy lol. suppose that will be sorted tomorrow.

I registerd my key on the website and it let me into the store so im not too worried.

My copy came today!
Gonna install it after this message, would have installed earlier but it took us ages to work out how to get in to the USB that came with the Collectors Edition

Lol! Yeah, me too! I had to get my son's mate to do it for me... and yeah, that little triangular thing is supposed to come off just incase anyone's wondering, so you can put the belt clip on.

I for one am glad that Amazon have cooperated with EAxis and kept to the specified release date.

Mine was despatched today (after locking me out of the order yesterday evening...), and will arrive on the 5th, as it was supposed to. Whereupon I shall be able to play with a clear conscience...




Damn my 'always order from Amazon' laziness. It gets me every time.

DS really needs a holier than thou smilie too.

I've been told there should be no problem at all. I went to Gamestation yesterday morning and asked if there were any preorder spots left and the guy said yes, but they had so many copies there wasn't really any point preordering. But I did anyway :P Been told the same from a friend at Argos as well.

mine came this morning from hmv.com and i got a free sims 3 mouse with it just got to get used to it is a bit different to sims 2

Just installed the game, downloaded and installed the free neighbourhood and just about to download the bonus car.
Must say, I do like the launcher and being able to organise downloads and such.

It's gonna be a busy day, what with playing The Sims 3 and Big Brother launching tonight!

I've ordered mine from HMV and quite a few people seem to have got theirs today but mine still hasn't come . I think I might have to wait till saturday because I ordered the Black Eyed Peas album which should be delivered on Saturday. Maybe they post things together instead of separately.

I also got the game this morning from ShopTo.net, installed it this morning but not had a chance to play it yet but hopefully I'll get some time on it tonight - Can't wait.
