My absolute favorite cringe-worthy moments in any Apprentice series has to be in series 2 with the charity posters and the girls team. Can't remember her name, but the PM who was pitching the calendar to trade and did the whole 'Did you know there are 2million cat owners in the UK. No, you can't ask me question.' Then there was Syed's over ordering of the chickens (1 chicken per pizza)

And yours...?

That was hilarious, especially as they came up with that ultra crap Rambo-style dog equipment holder thing.

O/T Re Rory's task: i think that was a harder task than the ones so far in this series. Selling fish and managing laundry are relatively easy once you have the logistics sorted out. Inventing something for a trade ie pets is actually rather tough

The cheese farce last series was classic stuff, however nothing can top 'secret signals' in series 1, where in Lindsay over-ruled the views of her team, a focus group, the staff that made the prototype and her team again to produce a children's toy that would have been out-dated in Enid Blyton's hay day!

Simon and his Bouncer last year - completely and utterly oblivious to what was happening

One of the funniest moments ever on Apprentice - love Sir Alans comments and expressions!

And the majority of them live in London.

And who can forget the Eclipse birthday song?

Ooh yes...Nargis telling the buyer she was pitching to to be quiet whilst she completed here pitch, then standing silent for about ten seconds, then telling the buyer "OK, now you may ask questions".

A vote for Paul trying to sell Makro cheese to the French, then trying to sell pork sausages to a Halaal (s/p?) butchers during Ramadan, whilst trying to cook some sausages using a baked bean tin and a candle.

Then he had the gall to blame Adam's banner for their failure

Yes......we lost by £700 but it's Adams fault for spending a few quid too much on a banner, even though i gave him mixed messages as to what his budget was in the first place!

am i the only one who didn't think Simon screwing the leg on the trampet was funny - i just thought it showed how stupid he was.

i totally missed series one. My fave carcrash mo is Nargis and the calendars: you can ask a question at the end...ok have you got any questions

another one that made me wince was when the girls team tried to sell 'kisses' in a pub.

do you notice how cocksure some of them are - its hilarious seeing them mess up.

Paul Callaghan, when asked on his CV to name his likes and hates, stated, out of all the things in the world to hate, was Big Issue sellers. Why did he hate them? Because they're "scruffy and have no market strategy".

Syed, who confidently mistook a viaduct for Wandsworth Bridge.

Michael Sophocles admitting to customers that he'd spaced out the pizza slices to make them look whole.

Nicholas "de fakey" Brown, failing to perform like an erudite barrister when he was on the scaffold.

I think it was series 2, where one team shot a promotional airline video and inadvertently made it look like the traveller reclining in his plane seat was playing with himself.

Jo's uncontrolled head-in-hands sobbing as soon as someone so much as farted.

Claire, in the boardroom session of Episode 4 this series, trying to mention it in passing that Simon was sweating, as if it justified her disrespect of him.

That killed his chances of progressing stone dead.

Incidentally I think most Big Issue sellers probably have a better market strategy than an average candidate on The Apprentice....

eta: I think you mean Paul Tulip though

Jadine:

"It's Maya's birthday
And Eclispe is gonna say hip hip hooray
Drink your coffee every day"

And so on

For me this has to be James (I think) during the shopping channel task, when he was modeling the wolf jacket. Not only did he look a right idiot, but now everytime I see someone wearing one of those style coats; I think of James.

Am I really the first person on this thread to mention Simon's trampoline?

*shaking with laughter just at the memory*
How the hell did that muppet win?

Nargis was also hilarious; I think that was the best episode of the Apprentice ever. I always wondered if the "I haven't finished...."*pause*"OK, now you can ask me questions." thing was an editing trick. It just seems too good to be really true. But I want to believe!

I'm not. Apologies to CFCJM1, I didn't notice your post there. And thanks for the Youtube link.

I'd forgotten that, it will brlliant. James (Max I think?) doing very well for himself, has shows on two radio stations in London. Has lots to learn though, always talks over his callers.
