He didn't do much wrong last season. The problem at this club is he surrounded by a bunch of clowns. When you are constantly worried about your team mates messing up it makes your job a whole lot harder. At Holland he benefited of being focused on his own role. It also helped his team wasn't under pressure all the time.

If we end up selling Vlaar to Southampton we may as well give up now, If Southampton can take our best player we are going to be in for another long season, its not as if Vlaar is on a high wage so there is no excuse. We have turned into a Championship club hoping to survive in 17th of the Premier league.

Dare I say this could be a very decent season?”
I hope so.
Good win today, Stoke did the double over us last season, We seem to have strengthened this season. We could do with a break from worrying about relegation
Looks like we have a new CEO, Tom Fox who has been Arsenal's chief commercial officer for the past 5 years is poised to take up the role. Also two more signings may be in the pipeline. Hope so!
So no signings for Villa after Cleverley asked for £80,000 a week wages to join us.I guess he would rather sit on the bench at Man Utd earning his money!

With Lambert in charge they should slash the price of Season tickets, no value for money imo”
.................very tough sequence of early games being waded through now -those ten points are invaluable.
