He is a tightwad and doesn't know a damn thing about football and I believe no longer gives a hoot about Aston Villa however what he does know and care about is money. He will know down to the penny what relegation will cost him so therefore I think will cough up for a decent manager not to allow that to happen.

A tad contradiction? I have no confidence Lerner will even bring in a decent manager. He has a track record of bringing in managers who have caused us to be in relegation battles every season.
