The score will end up being how many Arsenal want to score now, they are in complete control of us, if they want to relax and pick us off every now and then they might get another couple, if they want to keep attacking and kill us off, this could be a cricket score.

I never thought i would be seeing my team in so much disarray, its actually a disgrace to see players perform with so much lacklustre.

I guess if you have a chairman who couldnt give a shit anymore, how can you expect anyone else at the club to care

You would have to say looking increasingly dire for Villa. Sure they have rode their luck before but I think it might be about to run out soon if things don't improve

Our luck has run out. We might string some results together, but it's bye bye Premier League come April for us. I've accepted that now.

Looking at the next 6 fixtures we need 6 wins from the next 6 to have any chance and even then its only 18 points another two losses in the next 6 and we will never make up the ground

Essentially we are down

We have been down for a while, I guess the only hope coming into December was if we stayed about six points in touch with the others above us and hopefully buy some decent replacements in January.

Norwich who are in the last safety place are now eight points ahead of us and our manager Garde who had 24 games to save us looks incapable of winning one. Five games he has now stood static on the touchline, I think he is alive but I am not sure.

Sad to say,I fear we are down.

Maybe this January window is a job of starting the building of a team for the Championship

Not sure Remi Garde is the man to bring us back up

Well I'm not looking forward to see Villa against Newcastle on the weekend and I think we will be lucky to get a draw!

I would surprised if we get a win anytime soon!

Even todays results have gone against us, we have to win today to have any glimmer of a distant hope, Sunderland lost but we also need Swansea and Newcastle to keep losing as well.

Oh well sod it , my money is on us and Sunderland down, then its any club from about 4

Decent second half for us and a decent point, but at this stage a point means nothing especially when a lot of the teams around the bottom half have got good results.

We've got a run of fixtures now where we really need wins, and if the players want any hope of staying up they have to start delivering.

21 games to go, not even 21 draws would be any good to us, we need about 1.4 points a game now to have any chance

Your not the only one putting money on Villa going down, Coral are running one of their 12 Days of Christmas special offers on Villa being relegated. Today's offer is 4/1 on relegation which is looking like a good bet with only 7 points on the board by Christmas!

another decent draw, just not enough though, we played well, the second half we showed desire and it looked like we were fighting for the equaliser and when it came we should have gone on to win.

If we had started the season showing what we did in the second half we wouldnt be in this mess, its probably too late but Garde is getting through to the players

awful result, that's that then, no hope now at all, we cant score goals and look easily beatable with Richards and Richardson in the team.

Its embarrassing to watch us play now, when Garde took over i thought he had us playing a to a system, they looked more organised than under Sherwood, but now i cant tell what he wants the players to do tbh.

This was the day we were relegated. No way back at all now.

I know some might think I'm harsh and impatient, but I've no faith in Garde at all. 0 wins in 8, when at least half of them were winnable, is as appalling a run as Sherwood had.

Yes, the players are all equally responsible too and I'd love most of them to be shot, but we have a squad that should be doing better than this. Leaving Gil and Traore on the bench, while giving a start to Kieran frigging Richardson, is absolute insanity.

Garde looks shell shocked , its as though he didnt realise who he was becoming manager for and the position we are in, he looks blank on the touchline as if he doesnt have any answers to the problems we have.

The club as a whole are in a huge mess now, we unfortunately look like we could do a Bolton/Wigan/Blackpool, and Blackburn and disappear from the premier league for a long time, and struggle to get back ;(

Garde has been super disappointing but the game today was his worst by far. You've already explained it so I'm not going to go into detail but my god that Richardson selection was something McLeish would do.

I wouldn't be surprised if Garde went until the end of the season without winning a game.

I am a West Bromwich Albion support living in Sedgley in Dudley, just wanted to say that I am currently watching Sky Sports News and they said that Villa need to win at least half of their remaining games to stay up.

Its just embarrassing now, we are so bad at defending its shocking, its not like we are playing well but getting unlucky or the opposition were just a bit better, the gulf in class between our defence and any other team in the prem is huge, its not even good enough for the Championship.

Its become extremely depressing now watching Villa, i think it might be best to block out our results this season and class our season as over and not bother watching, i still love my football club, but this season is too depressing.

Under Remi Garde Villa won't win one game.

When Sherwood was given the boot for exactly the same number of losses on the bounce as Garde Villa required someone with experience of relegation battles or at least someone with a lot of Premier League experience, Garde had neither but he was cheap.

Remi Garde - Mr. 0%

From reading this thread though you have had problems with all of your recent managers from since Martin O Neil, people on here not liking Gerard Houllier & Gary Mac, McLeish, Lambert, Sherwood & now Garde. Seems the fans have had issues with all the managers appointed by your owner yet things have got worse after each sacking.

Fair play to the villa, They have only won once but they have not been thrashed very often.
