I didnt really expect a win tbh,, but a 0-4 loss at home isnt good for confidence
That must be the undersatemant of the year!!

We are doomed...the only question now is how many points this sorry bunch will end up with ...(my guess is 28 and I' m being generous).........how many of these 'players' can we offload before next season, how long has garde got, and who goes down with us?
Answers on a postcard to chairman hollis please!

Randy Lerner has destroyed us. The Cleveland Browns fans were right all along.

This is just the beginning as well. I can easily see us going down to the abyss.

I wouldn't be surprised if Remi Garde walks and is replaced by Eric Black.

It seems like an impossible job tbh

A half decent manager with a bit of support could make a go of it. Garde won't be much use in the Championship well he isn't much use in the Premier League, I won't even mention Black that is too much of a bad joke.

Unless Villa spend some cash on battling Championship players with quality during the summer we will be stuck in that league for sometime.

Who knows what is in the brain of Randy Lerner or even if he has a brain.

I would fine Ayew 2 weeks wages and never play him again for doing that, absolutely no need to get himself sent off, thats a player who doesnt want to battle, regardless of the result the idiot let everyone down

I can see Garde walking away at the end of the season , i wouldnt blame him if he walked now tbh,, the people in charge have obviously lied to him or not told him the whole truth

The people in charge anger me more and more as time goes on, its sad what is happening.

I agree...fine him for 3 weeks while he is sunning himself on extended holidays.....but he is only the tip of our REAL problems at the club. No-one wanted to bother joining us in the window, that is the sad truth.... #goingdown

100% relegation next season.
Did you wager on that?

I'm not a villa fan, far from it, however why would he be sunning himself on holiday? Make him train with the kids three times a week and play in the reserves - certainly dont give him a holiday.

We havent got any strikers now, Kozák is injured again, Ayew is an idiot, Gabby is crap, Sinclair isnt really a striker and Gestede is unreliable, and also injured.

If only there was a transfer window where we could have gone and got one, silly me,, we had our chance and the Board let Garde down

Bloody hell, we are so awful to watch, i have never seen a Villa team in 30 years of watching them that look like they will concede every time the opposition come forward,, in possession we are clueless, its slow laboured attacking which allows their defence to get back into position and by then the chance is over.

The last time we went down we were awful, but when we went down even as a 14 year old i felt confidence that we would come straight back up,, the old second division was nowhere near as competitive as todays Championship, i cant see us coming back up for years, until Lerner sells or gets in people at the top who know what they are doing.

A stat of hope for you - this time last season after 25 games, Leicester only had 17 points. And they only had 19 points after 29 games. You never know...

LEICESTER FINISHED ON 41 POINTS LAST SEASON....I know they went on one run of winning 7 out of 9 games.....that is still pretty much what we are gonna have to do....

we did get a bit better as the game went on, but Norwich were so bad, ive a feeling they may come down with us i think the worst team to play at Villa Park this season imo, i watched the game on stream, it was dreadful at times, Idrissa Gueye had a decent game, but we lack any kind of oomph or any kind of creativity at times, it wasnt a great game for either team we probably deserved the win

yep...norwich look the next best bet to go down after us....I have heard some fans saying we have a 40% chance of staying up...they are living in cloud cuckoo land! This team simply isn't good enough to do a 'leicester'. And you are right, there isn't enough ooomph or class in the squad to survive...sadly...

I'd love to see the Villa stay up, but the chances of them doing a Leicester are a bit slim. Leicester were consistently putting in half decent performances but losing to the odd goal. Villa apparently aren't. On top of that, Leicester's run started with a win v W Ham (almost with a win at Spurs the week before) then for the run in it was pretty much a load of teams that they'd seen as beatable with only champions elect Chelsea as a tough fixture. Villa seem to have a tougher run in. Much as I'd like to see them do it, it's not looking good. Shame.

This is an absolute disgrace , you cant even blame lack of confidence, this is just a pure lazy, cowardly performance from players who really dont want to fight to stay up, Westwood looked like he wanted to be sent off as well.

This has to go down as the worst performance this season and that is saying something, we dont deserve to stay up

jesus christ that is bad, pretty sure the keeper could have attempted to get that, however he looks to have given up much like the defense

I actually can't wait to be relegated so we can finally be put out of this appalling misery.

Not a chance we're coming back any time soon either.
