I suppose coming back to get a point is better than leading and dropping 2 points , but i'm starting to wonder if we will ever win another game

WTF is going on with this club another bloody draw from a winning position

I am absolutely fuming now , I don't think RDM is the man to take this club forward , he obviously is clueless on how to get the team to keep a bloody lead

I'm not even a Villa fan but for goodness sake! Can you stop throwing leads away!

This is getting beyond a joke as we have already thrown away points this season which could cost us promotion or the play offs at the end of the season

Although ive given up now and expect RDM to stay at the club with us having a midtable finish to the season!

Im just dreading the derby against the blues at the moment

You got a late equalising goal against Newcastle only last weekend.

Give your manager a chance - he is been there all of five minutes.

Were you really expecting promotion after such a terrible season last year?

Why are you expecting an Halloween weekend nightmare against Blues potentially.

2-0 down and looking utterly appalling. He surely cannot survive this.

This is getting to the same stage of desperation we were in last year , we will be going down with RDM in charge

I cant understand whats going on at the club : we get a new owner, new backroom staff, a new manager , new players = same old results ????

There has to be some sort of bad influence in the club somewhere , you start getting a sense the players arent giving 100% for the club , we need a manager to get 100% out of everyone

The Villa away fans were chanting to Di Matteo 'you are getting sacked in the morning '

If a miracle doesn't happen then I don't think Tony Xia will have much choice after this game!

When the away fans turn on a manager, there's usually no way back. It's a case of when, not if now I'd think.

With a two week break until the next game against Wolves this would be the best time to get rid of Di Matteo.

Yeah it would be but I've got a feeling that Tony Xia won't sack Di Matteo before the Wolves game which makes me worried!

The goals we conceded looked exactly like the joke goals we were conceding last year , i don't get it tbh , is it the same defensive coach there or something ?

Both the Telegraph and Tom Ross reporting that RDM is gone, set to be announced in next 24 hours.

Sadly i hope its true, its just not working , people say give him time but its a results based game and we don't look like picking up another win with him in charge imo.

My guess if he is sacked we will go for Steve Bruce ?

The only thing with sacking RDM is what happens with all the backroom staff we have brought in, Steve Clarke is RDM's assistant so i suppose he will go as well , unless he gets the job, which i cant see happening.

Bruce would be the obvious and safe appointment, but we can't really be sure who Xia and the board might go for at the moment. Plus I fear there's a section of our fanbase who will, like with McLeish, refuse to look beyond him being ex-Blues rather than take into account his decent record.

Daily Mail have linked us with Steve McClaren! I'm calling bullshit on that one...I hope!

He'd be an excellent coach or even assistant, but as manager...nope. I'm pretty sure even Xia isn't that naive to appoint him!

I've seen quite a few reports linking David Wagner at Huddersfield with the Villa job!

It's a different choice but is this just based on his great start to the season and would he even leave Huddersfield so soon?
