If you see my previous post and the BBC website then Villa are already in talks with Steve Bruce
Ex Birmingham manager then?

Here we go then, i'm looking forward to this game, i was dreading it a week or more ago

I doubt Bruce has had much time to change things drastically in 48 hours, but i hope he can motivate the players more than RDM did

Some truly appalling football in that second half , these players really are proving they play shit for any manager , they just are not good enough at all , i can't see us going back up to the Prem for many years unless there is an overall in players , none of them can handle pressure, they crumble so easy , we were extremely lucky to come out of that with a point tbh , Wolves might have had another two penalties and we probably should have had Chester sent off .

Bruce has got a huge job on his hands now , he needs to get these players playing better than they actually are.

Agree with above, Bruce has got a massive job on his hands.
Wolves were cutting through at will in the second half and could have had four or five if they had their shooting boots on.
Micah Richards really is a shambles these days- where did it all go wrong?

I'm sure Bruce will sort it out for you, but as you say it may take a while.

Absolutely painful to watch as a Villa fan, and disappointing too because I expected the players to make an extra effort today to impress the new gaffer.
They just have no confidence and the amount of stupid fouls we make is shameful. As the previous poster said, we were very lucky we ended the game with a point and 11 players still on the pitch.
Hopefully Steve Bruce will have time before Reading on Tuesday to talk to the players and instill some new ideas and some mental strengthening of the players.

So lucky to even get a 1-1 draw out of that game and Bruce has got a massive job on his hands!

Wolves should have won that easily after we fell apart in the second half and we were lucky that Chester wasn't sent off!

Let's see how he does against Reading on Tuesday

I suppose that a feeling of relief after our habitual home draw is at least different from the usual frustration. However, after a reasonably even first half it has to be said that the second half showing was a shocker. We were very lucky to get a point after being totally outclassed. Wolves were better individually and collectively. If only we had a player like Costa, always looking forward, pacey, good touch, aware of teammates and seemingly always able to find space, which is something our static bunch rarely find. I can't think of anybody who played well, especially after the half hour. It is baffling how we have signed players for big money, who have excelled for other clubs in this division, but who now look like division 1 or 2 players. Bruce has a big job to even turn this lot into a top half team as so many seem to be lacking both physically and mentally.

Well after our win on Tuesday against Reading let's hope that we can follow that up with a home win against Fulham!

If we win at home today then I might start to feel genuinely optimistic about our chances for moving forward under Bruce...

You can tell how bad its been , we won our first game away from home for over a year , but we havent won at home for 5 games and even then its only 1 win at home since Febuary, we need to put that right as well
