They were fake £50 notes.

I agree about Heskey though- he adds nothing to your lot, in fact he detracts. Probably first choice striker in the World Cup as well ![]()

What did Gareth Barry expect though after the way he left, it were priceless that he got out-jumped by Richard Dunne for the goal

Heskey to leave?
He's useless and I hope he does leave, but I fear that MON will start playing him regularly to keep him happy... |

Well,Liverpool are reported to be interested @ £1.5 Million
Quite an under valuation in this day for an England international player I for one would like to see him go but @ what price a givaway to get rid or a realistic price based on buying a replacement |

Doubt he'll leave Villa for Liverpool. He'd be unlikely to get more first team football ahead of Torres, Kuyt and Babel. Unless we swap him for Torres, Kuyt or Babel of course.

Super result last night against Portsmouth, went to the match and it was a great atmosphere, however not the nicest of grounds.

Blackburn/Chelsea away in the first leg of the CC semi final. I really believe we can now go all the way and win it.

Comfortable win for us today against Hull, stunning goal by James Milner who put another man of the match performance in.

Yeah great win and nice to finally beat them in the league for the first time since the opening day of the 95-96 season.
I was a bit worried the way we sat back so much in the second half after how many problems we were causing by attacking them in the first half but glad we managed to hang on. Hopefully we can build on this result now. I've been impressed with downing so far after having my doubts when we signed him. |

Congratulations on your win, I hope that you go on now and take 4th spot. You are a very well run club, so I hope that you carry on and do well.

A top 4 place is up for grabs this year. Villa look more confident this year, the addition of one or two decent players in January might give us a chance of achieving that place. |

Only downside to the Villa win was Jimmy M didn't really get started
First half was great,2nd half was panic stations at times |

I was there at Old Trafford, I honestly cannot believe we finally did it. We even out sung their supporters for most of the game as well. What a shameful dive by Rooney and it was priceless seeing Fergie's face when the stoppage time board went up.

Good performance though by villa- they looked deadly on the break! |

Marvellous victories at the moment.
I took a look at the upcoming fixtures around the Christmas period. We have Aresnal on the 27th and Liverpool on the 29th?! That's two days apart! ![]() What kind of an idiot would do this and how is this even allowed? Two flipping days! Would our lads be fit enough to handle Liverpool or you reckon MON will be forced to use some reserves? I still can't get over this!

The Rooney dive was shameful but conveniently over looked by most of the media- players are only divers/cheats if they're foreign it seems!
Good performance though by villa- they looked deadly on the break! Michael Owen was always the worlds best diver. (Liverpool days) Feather touch contact yet never a dive. Brilliant because we never knew if it was or wasn't. So good that I say this without real conviction. Its might be a 2+2 =5 conclusion. |
