Fergie trying to play mind games with MON by saying Rooney may not play in the Carling Cup final? Yeah right.
Martin isn't stupid.Less than 24 hours to go, woohoo! I really hope we win, but even IF we lose, I'm still gonna give the boys the biggest cheer of my life for getting us this far. This is the best season I've seen Villa play in my lifetime and will be happy regardless of the outcome. I just hope they put the icing on the cake.

Would've preferred Carew rather than Heskey. Glad Friedel's starting though...he seems to do well against United!

FA Cup anyone?
![]() I just knew Owen would score. He's a player I've always rated highly, and he proved he can still do it...shame about his injuries. As for Rooney...well, I don't need to say anything about him. Quality. Bitterly disappointed, but at least we got to a final and deservedly lost to a great team. Hopefully it'll be the first final of many to come. Very proud of the team. |

Okay, just got back.
It was all very bizzare in the first 25 minutes with the sloppy defence and questionable ref decisions (when our players were booked over Vidic, no point arguing about the red card), but we held onto it and it was an entertaining first half. But in the second half, we just fell flat. Man Utd dominated most of the game looking very comfortable. Valencia was immense and Rooney was brilliant at taking his chances. Top notch striker. Let's hope his current form remains in the World Cup. Overall, I thought it was a good game. Obviously I'm disappointed with the result, but atleast we didn't get slaughtered and battled all the way through. The better team won. To be honest, I'm actually more annoyed about the fact Man City, Spurs and Liverpool have all won in the PL. I hope this result doesn't knock our players confidence. We're still in the FA cup and still have a good chance finishing high in the PL. UTV. |

Unlucky today, chaps
Was hoping your team would win today But you are still in the FA Cup, so the best of luck with that and the tussle for 4th place You deserve European football and hope you get it at the end of the season |

We get by Reading on Saturday, we may possibly have scum waiting for us in the Semis.
Starting up a little 'friendly rivalry'

All I've heard this week are smug Bluenoses gloating about the dodgy refereeing decision that may have been decisive in our match last week.
What goes around, comes around!

Maybe next time they'll believe in karma and shut the hell up.
I'm glad they're knocked out.

I'm so glad we've got MON. Not many managers would make our players get back in the game so fast.
