A draw wouldn't be the worst result, with two games still in hand we could still catch Spurs. A win would make it a bit easier, but I can't see a winner today though...this has a draw written all over it.

I'm not sure I want to watch the second half...the first was awful.

Fair result, but it was extremely boring to watch.

****ing hell why didnt he put Gabby on if he was on the bench, Heskey is shit.

The draw result isnt the worst result, and we still have a number of games in hand, but that March 27th Chelsea game will be a scrap thats for sure.

Sunderland doing us a BIG favour today, Man City are a goal down, just hope they hand on in the last 20.

Tonight's match against Wigan is must win if we're to finish fourth. Anything less than three points and we can forget the Champions League.

The Angel Gabriel back for us tonight he's partnered with John Carew - This is an attack we need for Chelsea, no better time to test it.

Ashley Young, James Milner, Stuart Downing all start.

Wigan going all out as well, except for Mario Melchiot whos out with a thigh injury.

Currently 1-1 = Stupid free kick conceded, we've had two goals disallowed.

Plenty of chances, but we're just not finishing them. I'm furious about the goal we conceded as well...sloppy.

SUPER JAMES MILNER! - 2-1 Villa.

Nice one Milner!

Not sure I'm happy with Chelsea set to go out of the Champions League. Might make them a bit more determined to get the FA Cup!

Still in the race for fourth! Though I really wish we could've got three points against Stoke now!

A good win for us and 3 points that we needed to keep up our chance of getting 4th place. It was a really good game but a pity it wasnt shown on sky!

Now we need to make sure we get 3 points on saturday against Wolves and put the pressure onto Spurs, Man City, Lpool for 4th place!

Another game for us up the Park tomorrow, vs Wolves

Squadsheet - and Gabby is looking like he'll start or will sit out the 1st half, but he probably will be playing tomorrow.

The majority if not all our remaining games are winnable but we can't let points slip as we did at Stoke.

Wolves is a must win game.

Crap. Absolute crap. Wolves should've won today...we didn't deserve anything.

No defeat in the Premier league since December 29th but too many draws and draws against teams that we should be beating.

If we finish outside the top four and probably end up about sixth O'Neill will point to the two cup runs as progress.

Winning the FA cup would be progress but not winning it means that we are no better than last year or the year before.

I think we should concentrate on qualification for the Europa League, thank god for John Carew, but we didnt deserve it today, caught on an off day.

I was at the match yesterday. Thought we was gonna slaughter them when we scored the first goal until Wolves scored two when everyone including me was getting pissed off.

It was good we got the equaliser. We wouldn't have won this match last season I'm sure of it, so we've defo improved but we shouldn't be drawing at home against Wolves if we want to claim the fourth spot.

Well, I can't see us getting there now. The main focus should be the FA Cup and winning it because if we don't, we've got nothing to show how much we have improved this season.

If Chelsea play like they did against Blackburn against us next week, we'll hang them out to dry, not the team I was expecting!

Just need to beat Sunderland to give us a bit of confidence, I believe that's the only game in hand now.

If we turn up and play our best, we can beat Chelsea no matter what, but you're never sure which Villa will turn up.

Hope Gabby recovers soon...I'm sick of Heskey and his ineptness.

I can't quite understand how the Fonz isn't get a chance, especially yesterday even as a sub when we were searching for a goal. Cuellar's been pretty disappointing too recently and i think L.Young is a much better RB but for some reason he's been out of favour this season after being one of our best players last year I've not been overly impressed with Petrov this season either and we need someone more dominant in that position who's capable of providing a killer pass.

Gabby still out with a foot problem, but he should be fit for Chelsea on Saturday.

Hope Carew is in the mood today!

Oh great...that means Heskey starting again. I think it'll be a frustrating night, but I think we'll win.

Richard Dunne also out probably, depends on how he's feeling, sore Achilles, so Luke Young has been called up on alert, nice to see him back!
