Not gonna be an easy one tonight...Hull need these three points just as much as we want them.
Friedel, Cuellar, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Downing, Milner, Petrov, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor, Carew. Subs: Guzan, Luke Young, Sidwell, Delfouneso, Heskey, Reo-Coker, Beye. Downing had better prove he's worthy of starting...I've not been very impressed with him so far. Hope Delf and NRC get a run out at some point. Going for a 2-2 draw. As long as we don't get any injuries for the game against the scum on Sunday, I'll be happy. |

Well we are comfortably 1-0 up - Hull are leaving lots of space in the midfield allowing Milner to shine, Petrov got booked for a bit of a daft challenge, and Gabby got us the goal.

Wouldn't say it's comfortable. We've gone worse after 20 mins (AGAIN) and nobody bothered to mark the player 3 yards out though...Quite good save that was. Wow, a serious injury. It's been going on for 5 mins now.

Good job Milner. I can relax now.
It's a shame Carew didn't take it though. I love his shots. |

Should be game over now. I don't care what happens in the other games now, as long as we win on Sunday!

He should, but he probably won't. It'll be Heskey first if there is a sub.
Or Sidwell. |

Delfonso's reward for scoring a winning goal on Sunday is to sit on the bench, while Peskey comes on to fall around a bit.

Birmingham and Blackburn are winnable games, but Man City could be tricky. I'll be extremely happy if we get 7 points out of those games.

Good win. Keeps us in the hunt for Europe, and if we can win at least two out of three games, that should be enough.
If we beat the scum on Sunday, we'll have bettered our points total for last season (62) with two games to go. ![]() Also, I hope Jan VoH is alright. Seemed a pretty nasty injury.

A win against Blues on Sunday may mean the game against Manchester City being the most important since 1982.

Blues? Who are they? In Villa territory they are known simply as the Scum lol in pubs/town everywhere.

Haha, this made me laugh.
A typical training day at Aston Villa He puts Carew and Heskey up front. Dunne and Collins practise hitting it right on to their head. Warnock, Young and Heskey take it in turns to see who can do the best limp. Gabby runs back and forth as fast as he can, before jumping in his car and terrorising neighbourhoods. MON then attacks Reo Coker at the random intervals. The Fonz asks if he can join in, but MON tells him he's too young for training and makes him sit on the sidelines. Petrov wears a special blazer sewn by MON and joins in just when he feels like it. Young spends his time in luxury swimming pool perfecting his diving. Cuellar practicises his crossing, dribbling and passing, doing stepovers, cruyff turns and juggling the ball whilst moonwalking through cones. Sidwell just arrives with 5 minutes to go, hits a shot wide and then goes home. Downing is there, but nobody notices him. Guzan brings out the drinks, but keeps spilling them. A typical day at Aston Villa. |
