Right, we're in the bottom 3 now. I don't give a toss if we somehow get a last minute draw. I can't be bothered to watch the rest.
Houllier is the worst manager in the Premier League this season despite coming in late if you check out his abysmal stats. Cannot keep a clean sheet when this was one of the best defences last year. He hasn't shown any light that he'll bring in quality players for Jan. So what's the point of him?! This was the real match for Houllier and his let everyone down as well as himself. I want him gone. |

Bottom three, I didn't think that would be the case before the start of the season.
Houllier hasn't worked out keeping him longer would be a mistake. 3 wins from 16 Premiership matches under Houllier. Pathetic. |

The board have stated that Houllier's job is safe. Cowards.

A loss against the clowns will not only be devastating, but could place us at the bottom of the table. That will be time I want the whole board out. Everyone, including Lerner.

I hear we could be getting Bridge on loan who would be on 90k a week. I thought we were suppose to reduce the wage bill? I don't like being lied to which is happening time and time again.
I thought the whole point of Houllier though was he could get us hidden foreign gems? If this is the best he can do, his even more worthless than I thought. |

I saw the Bridge story this morning and thought the same thing. MON (apparently) resigned, because the board wouldn't give him the Milner money and wanted him to lower the wage bill, yet Houllier is being allowed to loan 90k players. The only notable departure from the wage bill at the moment seems to be Sidwell, but even he's taking his time leaving. There's definately some bullshit somewhere along the line.

Bridge used to be ok but according to the stats on Skysports he has started just 4 games this season (which I suspect were nearly all in the Europa League). Mancini has chosen to play people out of position rather than Bridge, which shows how little he rates him. 90k a week for someone who is not match fit seems a bit strange to me. Warnock has been poor so far but so have most of the rest of them so I am far from convinced that this will improve us. I would rather see a decent striker and a creative midfielder.

I can't see Villa paying a player 90k a week.
Bridge or anybody else on those wages would probably be brought in on a deal where their club would pay a percentage. |

Sidwell has gone to Fulham. I can't say I'll miss him. Infact, I'm bloody delighted.
Warnock next please if we do get Bridge on loan. We can sort out the LB properly in August. |

Blues must be looking at this and laughing. They're going to be very confident for next week, and rightfully so.

3-1
Through to the fourth round, but far from convincing. Next week is the big one though...lose that and the board won't be able to ignore the calls for Houllier's sacking. |

That was a really good goal I must admit. Walker was the biggest highlight imo. His already proving his worth, but sadly not to us.
It won't surprise me if the board will continue to back Houllier until he decides to leave. |

We got Blackburn at home. Not bad at all. They're probably after our blood after we knocked them out of both cups last season.

It's abit late but our youngsters look to be a real treat for us. 10-1 against Arsenal Reserves was shockingly amazing.
All I can say is thank flip Bridge went with the Hammers. ![]() I hope Makoun provides for us. He looks like a quality player. ![]() Onwards and upwards for tommorow! (hopefully) |

Agreed about Bridge. Very lucky escape there.
![]() Very excited about Makoun's arrival. I have to admit that I know very little about him, but I've heard some good things about him and look forward to seeing him in a Villa shirt. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. UTV SOTC.

Come on you Villa boys! Time to show some fight as we need the 3 points against small time Small Heath Alliance badly! Time for Mr Lazy to finally put in a shift!

One of the most unluckiest games I've ever seen us play. We should have won that. 4 times we hit the woodwork. FOUR.
It's frankly embarassing that we can't finish. I wonder why that is?! Carew doesn't deserve to wear a Villa shirt EVER again Fonz should start every match Gabby looks subpar nowadays. It was actually a disgrace seeing him miss that golden oppertunity of the first min in the game Heskey, need I say more?! Sign a ****ing quality striker Houllier. Give him the funds Lerner even if it costs 20m. This is holding us back. A quality finisher on our side would have scored goals for fun in this match. |

We hit the bar a few times but it's results that matter.
Houllier's Premiership record as Villa boss. Played - 17 Won - 3 Drawn - 6 Lost - 8 15 points from a possible 51. One positive is that we are out of the bottom three, Man City next Saturday. |
