I have no idea how we're gonna survive this. The best thing to do is sack Houllier RIGHT NOW. What have we got to lose? Seriously? This man has been a cancer to our club since day one. I can't believe it. All the resources his had and he still can't push to even bottom table safety.
The last time we lost against Wolves at home was early 80's I think? Yet today we didn't look that threatening at all. This is truely sickening. |

We've got nothing to lose now. Houllier either needs to resign or the board need to sack him. West Brom have stopped the rot by replacing Di Matteo. Liverpool stopped the rot by replacing Hodgson. Right now, it's not too late for us...there are still 24 points to play for. The board need to act fast though.

We have eight games left. On paper a few are tough but a few are winnable.
I'm not sure any game is winnable though with Houllier in charge 6 wins from 25 Premiership games under him. Our last two games of the season are against Arsenal and Liverpool I wouldn't want to see us needing wins from them to stay up. |

Arsenal slip up for the sake of it, and Liverpool occasionally slip up. I reckon you should win one of those matches. |

I can't see us getting anything from our last two games. If we have to win one of those games to stay in the Premiership then I would be worried.Unfortunatly I cant see us winning another game under Houiller and he needs to go now!

He should do the honourable thing and resign immediately.

He won't because the french surrendering scum doesn't want to lose his sum of pension money.
Let's not forget the board had perfect opportunities to sack him in the past and they've got another perfect one right now. Our next match is two weeks away leaving enough time for a new manager to make his mark. Will it happen? Hell no because we've got the biggest bunch of gutless people running our club who know **** all about football. Their first appointment is the biggest diaster in Villa history and they haven't got the bottle to admit their mistake by sacking him with immediate effect. |

As predicted.
So not only have they got the bottle to admit their mistake and would rather see us go down, the person who made those comments won't even name themselves. *Golf Claps* |

*facepalm*
Lerner had better start praying we stay up. If we go down and/or he continues to back the bottler, he also risks losing the fans support too. |

It seems Dunne and Collins were fit for the Wolves game, but they were dropped. Now Downing wants out of the club.
Don't you just love this circus? |

Surprise, surprise...it was the CEO who backed Houllier.
I'm in shock at the fourth paragraph: "Our best chance of staying up is with Gerard." Surely he can't actually seriously believe that? Where have you read that Downing wants out? First I've heard about that, though I shouldn't be surprised. |

Originally I read it was from Pat Murphy, so I listened to the man himself once the radio was up on iplayer and he does briefly mention it.
I enjoyed listening to him. He speaks a lot of sense and raises even more points like why wasn't Houllier scouting Everton. What a shambles. Oh, and I had a feeling it would be Paul Faulkner again. Him and Houllier are the two main reasons why we're in this mess. Lerner has to wake up and cart these talentless fools away from our club. |

Just listened to it. Pat does raise some excellent points, especially the one about Houllier watching Spurs/Milan rather than Everton...useless muppet.
Everybody can see it. The fans can. The players can. The journalists can. Even a couple of the decent Blues fans I know have said Houllier's a disaster. Why can't the board see it? |

It seems the board can't see it as Houiller is still in charge. If they were going to sack him then they would have done it by now!
Unfortunatly I can see Houiller in charge till the end of the season I just hope that doesn't result in Villa being relegated from the Premiership. My main worry is that our last two games of the season are against Arsenal and Liverpool. If we need to win one of those games then I cant see us staying up! |

Houllier rewriting the rules.
So he's unsettling the team even more...just what we need. Why has he waited until now to do this? Why not implement this when he first arrived? |

You would think he would do more important stuff like defensive training on set pieces.
But no, let's ban mobile phones. That will help us win against Everton. |

Don't believe that for a second. He'd need/want too much money to spend.

What a surprise. Young being played in his best position grants assists for England. Bent scoring a typical goal that we should see more of in our club.
Houllier is so out of his depth that he makes me frustrated. We have the players ffs! |

Villa want Moyes as new manager in the summer.
As much as I'd love Moyes as manager, I'm taking this (and all managerial speculation for now) with huge pinches of salt. |

Friedel, Walker, Dunne, Collins, Luke Young, Downing, Makoun, Reo-Coker, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor, Bent.
A 4-4-2...with Ash on the wing...and Gabby up front? At last!
