He actually has been offered multiple jobs which was confirmed by Sky Sports La Liga anchor man. He was offered WBA, two national teams and the Roma job, which he refused as he wants to return to England.

. If he was that good why hasn't he been offered another job outside England?
Know him personally do you. how the hell do you know he hasnt been approached?

Cheers for confirmation. Blatantly obvious that the poster is just against him because he didnt bow down to Man Utd & Fergie. His arguments are so flawed and have no sbubstance to them other than he personally doesnt like him due to his club.

I'm still worried about relagation after today's premiership results as there is still a possibility that we could go down.I just hope we get something tomorrow so that I don't have to worry about Villa fate on the last day!

According to Gary McAllister we were safe after the draw against Wigan and could be experimenting the side against Arsenal. It really is shocking.

Stop worrying. you are safe, have been for a while realistically. Can you really see all the sides below you winning all and Blackpool beating Man Utd at OT etc.

You are safe guaranteed....if not coming looking for me

Villa (4-3-3) Friedel; Walker, Dunne, Collins, L Young; Delph, Reo-Coker, Petrov; Downing, Bent, A Young.
Subs - Pires, Agbonlahor, Albrighton, Bradley, Heskey, Cuellar, Marshall.

Seems G-Mac has wisely opted not to experiment too much. Fingers crossed, but I'm still not hopeful of any points today.

I wouldn't mind a defeat as long as it's something like 2-1.

Agreed. A narrow defeat to preserve our goal difference is vital.

Have you watched us play recently?
Regardless of either team's form, we rarely get a win against the big four.

I can't believe this so far but I've still got a worry that Arsenal will get a goal back then we will fall apart

We were lucky to get away with a pen. Let's hope we can hold on.

This should earn Gary Mac a 3 year contract

Phew...Thank god for that...My heart stopped when RVP scored, but we held on. Good performance all round.

I think we can safely say we're 100% safe.

Nah he's still useless.

Yessssssssss! We might've had a fair bit of luck, and some help from the ref, but what a win! We ARE staying up...I'm glad I can finally say that for definite.

Fulham also beaten Blues and leave them in relegation trouble. Fantastic day for us!

Well this is a great Sunday, isn't it folks? SHA are could be relegated. Spurs will tear them apart. We only need Blackpool or Wigan to get a draw.

Just wanted to quickly say I thought Bent's first goal was bloody beautiful. Only just see it and I'm sure it'll be one that gets lost in the shuffle, but it really was a beauty. Lovely pass, brilliant timed run, amazing take and sensational finish. Just thought I'd put that out there
