Kevin MacDonald: 1.50

McLeish really is hopelessly shit.”

Yep, we gave the board a warning he would be a shit appointment, but they refused to listen to us and now they're paying the consequences. Let's hope this will result in them pissing off sooner for their sheer stupidity.

The thing is the board might give McLeish cash in January, which would be a travesty, considering he is shit in the transfer market - Zigic, Hutton, anybody?

Woah, a win. Haven't seen that for a while.

But I'm concerned we're still leaking 2 goals per average from this suppose defensive manager. Sort it out!

A much needed win and now a two week break before we face a run of games until New Years Eve which include Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

We will have done well to still be in the top half at the start of 2012.

Gabby A seems to be in great form this season..after injuries last time.

Pleased because he was a good prospect under O'Neil.

Was nice to get a win at last. Yet again, we didn't make it easy for ourselves, conceded another two goals, but it's three points on the board, so I'll let it slide.

I don't know what McLeish has said to Gabby, or what he's done, but whatever it is, it's working.

Gabby looks the finished article this year. Without some of the more flashy team mates of recent years he is taking his chance well

One of the worst matches I've seen us play. Set up tactically not lose. No real Plan B. We were lucky Spurs weren't as clinical in the second half.

I don't want McLeish as the manager ffs. He's destroying us.

McLeish looks more and more a one trick pony.
You would have thought he would have altered his style with the better players he has at his disposal now but it's exactly the same junk he turned out at Blues.

Villa might as well not have bothered turning up tonight,

Playing like that and with the games we have coming up I can't see us getting many points if any before the end of the year.

There is a reason why McLeish got Birmingham relegated twice and we are seeing it.

Awful. I can think of one chance we had, and it was a weak Bent header early in the second half. Outplayed from start to finish...Tottenham should've won by about 5-0.

I hope the board still believe McLeish is the right man for the job, because they're the only ones who still have faith in him.

Well, you didn't lay a glove on Spurs tonight.

Such a negative approach from McLeish.

McLeish is inept.

I am a Villa supporter and today's game was very bad for Villa, what has happened since the last Manger left, we have not won anything for so many years now,
again what is happening there at the Club?

Do we have a lot of bad Managers on our books?

I've said from day one Alex McLeish is an awful manager.

Hated at Rangers where he won SPL titles for boring, defensive, negative tactics. Hated at Blues for the same thing and now we are seeing it here.

If it wasn't so laughable I'd cry. Only us would appoint a manager that was relegated twice.

He said to Sky afterwards "we went at them" WTF? 31% posession, 3 shots on target?

When Sky asked him about Adebayor's second goal, he just babbled.

What he should have said is "my goalkeeper should have said LEAVE IT but he didn't, because instead of training my players properly, all we do is watch old Rangers videos"

McLeish probably meant the first 20 seconds when we attacked...er after that what could he be on about? My Uncle said he'll be gone by Christmas...I'm not sure Randy will get rid of him though.

The Villa fans have been patient. They've given him a chance to prove he can do more considering he has better tools to work with than his former club. But no, he thinks this selection last night was the right one. He's basically turning us into the new Blues.

Well, that's it. Every Villa fan have turned against him. There's no way back for him now when everyone has reunited against him. Even when Houllier was at his lowest he still had some support. McLeish has none.

Opinions on Habib Beye?

As a Doncaster fan i would be interrested to know if we've signed yet another donkey on loan.

He did mean that, but that is his main positive he took from the game - we went at them for 20 seconds.

The banners will be hanging from the Holte End in December.

We signed him at 31 years of age and some genius decided to give him a 3 year deal on £40k a week. Houllier wanted him out but nobody could shift him from his last ever big contract.

For 3 years he's been sitting on his arse, happy to rake in the cash, not even determined to move and play football. He's only moved now because his contract expires in June and he doesn't want to be lining up on the dole.

Oh, well that sounds like a great signing.

I hope we get three points today, but given the circumstances, I don't think I'll be too upset if we don't.

R.I.P. Gary Speed.
