Lambert should resign but he won't he had his hand out to Norwich for most of the season.

He is out of his depth 4 wins from 20 games and 15 goals conceded in the last three.

This looks like a job for Mark Hughes.

I don't personally think Lambert should go...the problems at Villa run a lot deeper than him, though he's not entirey blameless. He MUST buy experience and backup in January though...I'm tired of hearing Villa use excuses of "injuries" or "thin/young squad."

His media reactions are starting to piss me off.

He mumbles alot, dishes out the same stupid old catchphrase everytime we lose, doesn't seem angry at all (he really should), and keeps praising the useless players.

But like you said the problems run deeper than him. It's not like he is a bad manager seeing as he made Norwich into a good PL side from League 1. When you have todders in the boardroom then you know we're in free fall.

I dont think Lambert should be fired, its a tough job managing Villa at the moment, I certainly dont think Mark Hughes is the man for you.

The problems at Villa do run deeper then the manager, as someone has already stated, it is a very young squad and the heads of some of the players have gone down at the moment, investment is needed in the squad, and I think the January window is a must for you to at least bring in a couple of experienced players to steady the boat for you.

Read somewhere that Bent could be on his way to Fulham, that is a loss of another experienced player if he does go - I personally dont think that it is a good move to let him move.

Guzan, Lowton, Clark [c], Bennett, Herd, Weimann, Delph, Stevens, Westwood, Benteke, Albrighton

That's our starting lineup for today. That isn't a Premier League team. Another thrashing.

Sadly you're right so far.

As I said in an earlier post, our problems run deeper than Lambert, but even Stevie Wonder can see that the team he's playing just isn't working. Getting outplayed by Chelsea is one thing. Getting outplayed four games in a row is just not good enough.

Swansea must be kicking themselves with all those wasted chances. No way we should still be in the game by that horrific performance.

After the first 30 minutes, and the last 10 days, it's a point I'm happy to take. Gutting to concede so late though.

Phew......i'll take a draw after our awful performances over xmas....shame we couldn't hang on for the win though.......We need to start buying premiership players with experience....most of our players have not much experience at this level and its showing

Darren Bent is s**t - I can see why Lambert doesn't rate him, he's been found out I think, Benteke and Weimann upfront is 10x more effective than Bent on his own.

Fussy with your managers aren't you? I remember you wanting rid of Houllier pretty quickly (and Gary Mac), then wanting nothing to do with Rafa when he was linked to be in the frame, to not wanting McLeish to now not wanting Lambert. Whose left?

Seriously though, Mark Hughes just has to be sarcasm!!

After three stinking results and 20 minutes in yesterday looking like a fourth was on the way, you can surely understand the concerns we had at that time?

Results have been somewhat disappointing, but most of us are still behind Lambert. Getting rid of him would solve nothing.
