This team is a disgrace. Bennett and Bannan aren't even league players.

Agree about Bannan and Bennett...they've been absolutely woeful and if they're being outplayed against a team from League 2 then we can't expect them to do anything against the Prem teams.

Got to give credit to Matt Duke, he's not letting us past. Were it not for him we'd probably have 3/4 goals.

What a load of ****ing shit our team is. If Bradford finish the job in a fortnight, they throrougly deserve their place in the final.

I dunno about you Yoshi but I'm done with some of these players. Wash my hands off them. Disgrace to the shirt.

Same. Most of them are a complete waste of time and money. Thank God for Weimann, but how long will we be able to keep him? Not for much longer I imagine.

Unless he quits, no. He'll be here to season's end at least.

Once again Villa the joke of football.

Any manager with an once of dignity would resign after that and what happened over Christmas and any other owner apart from Lerner would sack him.

Lambert has lost me now. I gathered that much when not only did we get beaten 3-1 by a league 2 team but we were outplayed as well. All we did most of the game was hoof against a league 2 team. This is not even including the other countless embarassing defeats. And he did buy Bennett after all. Worst player I've seen in a Villa shirt ever.

I'm not a fan of Lerner but I feel sorry for him tonight. This is just unacceptable.

I think Villa have enough to beat Bradford at home, but then again Bradford have more than enough to score at Villa Park.

Wonder where all the quality has gone in that XI. It was only four years ago the team was aiming to finish fourth. Not properly reinvesting has affected the club.

The things ive heard about Lambert on the Sunday Supplement program worries me........they were saying he likes to take charge of the kids so he can control most aspects of their lives including which car they drive etc..,,,,,he seem to have problems with established players who don't like his style of controlling management.

We are in desperant need of established quality and from what i can gather Lambert may not go for these types of player.

I would love to try and stay positive but i have an awful feeling we may get relegated

What has happened to Joe Bennett. Boro sell him for £4m and get a left back twice his ability in George Friend for £500k

From what I gathered Boro fans didn't rate him either when he was at their club.

No idea what Lambert was thinking with this purchase. He really is atrocious. He has no defensive qualities whatsoever. How on earth did he make it as a left back? He makes Warnock look like world class in comparison.

Can anyone help me?

Bradford fan in peace.

My son (16) wants to go with two of his friends to the match but due to being at school he couldn't go to the ticket office himself so he got his granddad to go and queue up for one for him.

When Granddad got to the ticket office, the staff asked him what ticket he wanted, so he said "a kids one" and was given a ticket for under 16's (£15) even though my lad given him £25.

When granddad gave him the ticket today our lad realised his mistake. My husband rang the club and they said "oh sorry, there's nowt we can do, all you can do is wait to see if we have any adult tickets returned and we can swap them" (not likely to happen) "or you can risk it, go down, and they have these electronic turnstiles where you just insert your ticket and they let you in".

So, my question is, is anyone at Villa Park likely to check his ticket. He's 16 (born in September) but in GCSE year at school so should have got a student/concession ticket. Do you think he should risk it? He's not a small 16 year old, he's a strapping 6 footer with a baby face, so due to his height I never even try to pass him off as younger than he is.

He's got a junior season ticket for City and the lads on the turnstile never normally bat an eyelid when he hands that over, but it'd be just my luck to send him on the coach to Villa only for him to get refused entry.

What do you think?

It's been time for a while but if he stays we will go down.

Every game he is now in charge is a nail in our coffin.

Lamberts not the problem , far from it.

Look at the Villa team sheet and squad , its simply not Premier League class , another Yank ruining a good club.

That was desperate,,,,,i have a strong feeling we will be relegated.
Lambert is beginning to worry me now, his body language in press conferences looks like he hasn't got a clue how to turn this around.

What upsets me is Lerner,,,,fair play to him under MON he gave him money to spend, but when he realised it would take more money to get into 4th he completely pulled the plug on spending and sold everyone of worth and we now are relying on youth. There doesn't seem to be any activity in the transfer window either to help us out.

Lerner out

I still stand by my opinion that, while not totally blameless, Lambert is not responsible for this mess. Lerner has over $1bn thanks to his sale of the Browns, so where has that money gone? Lambert came to our club on (I suspect) promises of backing which are now being broken...under the current regime, even Mourinho would struggle to save us.

We are going down and it's primarily down to Lerner. Seven years of broken promises and unfulfilled ambition and we're worse than when he took over from Doug Ellis...take a look at the team we had in O'Leary/Ellis's last season and I bet Lambert would kill for it.

Time to pack up and **** off, you lying Yank bastard.

Welcome to the globalisation of English football. The sport has become a supermarket, clubs lose touch with their fans, and the money-making mechanism appeals to these Yanks.
