I really did detest Kate (and Jonny/PJ) last year and thought she was the most undeserving winner of BB so far. Until last night that is.....just was did Cameron do to merit winning the series? He didn't do anything!

THe way he puts his hands on either side of his face to express surprise/shock, etc is so..ahem.. Brian....that's' all I'm saying on the matter!

Cameron DID NOT deserve to win BB. I have a horrible feeling we'll be seeing him on our screens again.

Lets put it this way forget Kate, i rather have a jonny then a cameron for a winner!

But hey i cant blame the public that much i mean look what they had to choose from!.........It was dismal really

I shall wait a couple of weeks before passing judgement on whether Cameron is a deserving winner, I think a lot depends on how well he handles being out of the house. I can't see him slagging off his former HM's like Kate did. I would like the media to confront him about his views on homosexuality although I feel they may have been briefed by the creepy Julyan.

why was that cheated if jon was such a big fav he would have beaten him no probs.

its not cameron fault that geekboy had less fans than him.
”

Because, simply the FACT is, those who voted for Cameron out after Federico left the house, the vote's never did count nor did they show up on the phone bill, but they did get the message accepted, but the votes to evict Jon did count I'm afraid.

We'll never get answers from Endemol/C4.

The only way to settle this, is so the british public don't make a fool of themselves again by introducing the Head Of Household next year.

Once again.. I refer the denial to the Phone Bill Query thread.

Thank you, please.

Noone noticed Kate was in the house before two weeks before the end when the media starting running a campaign for the first female Big Brother.

At least Cameron has been a talking point from the start and all the way through the show.

The viewing figures got me thinking.........Cause nearly over 8 million watched Tims eviction!

Does that mean more people watched Tim (the tosh) get booted then watched Cameron win! Oh my thats tragic........Okay now i feel sorry for Cameron!

lol

And i just realised that aswell

I voted for Cam on double eviction night and recieved the 'thankyou for your vote' text back.

I never understood the flak that Kate got. I like her. To me she came across as a normal, down to earth, good fun girl in her ealy 20's who is having her fun before settling down. I voted for her to win as she reminded me a lot of me and my friends when we were that age.

Kate was more underserving IMO.

Excellent point. Kate won BB3 because she was probably the most easily accessible housemate in there at the end. Coping with being interned on the poor side for three weeks running and then being willing to sacrifice her place on the rich side so the others could be reunited would've won her a lot of votes too.
Whereas Alex, Jonny and Jade had all experienced a turbulent time in the BB3 house, Kate generally remained consistent and unambiguous throughout.

Kate never slagged off the hms and the worst culprits were Alex (as much as I love him) and Jade. It was the latter two who had the paper deals first and the bitching was done by the NOTW and Sun and really they took a lot of what had been said in the house to slag off Kate and even had Jade quoting violence towards her.

I do not really blame Jade but the dirty tabloids about this and if you are referring to the remark Kate made at a private party about Jade then that is the fault of the tabloids. In fact the whole slanging matches between the two girls was stirred by the press for more sales and concerning Alex, Kate never retaliated to any of the nasty remarks he made towards her.

Kate was the least deserving by a mile in my opinion. There were people in the BB3 house that were interesting and entertaining throughout, and Kate wasn't one of them. They deserved to win rather than her.

Whereas in BB4, they were all fairly boring. Cameron deserved it as much as anyone else - excepting Jon, possibly.

I did not like Kate she was a snide in the house...so my answer is Cameron, he seems a genuine sort.....BB4 on the whole was pants

Couldn't abide the childish Kate so it must be Cameron here.

Well, how many people would prefer Kate as a flatmate than Cameron - not on an asphetic level, for being a good fun person to live with. ”

Yes, I would love to be platonic flatmates with Kate! I loved her on BB3, she was and is a genuinely nice lass. She always had a sympathetic ear for a distraught HM plus she was always up for fun. Her win made my summer last year.

As for Cameron - I'm not a fan, for reasons you can find here posted by plenty of other people on plenty of other threads. But he's won BB4 and that's it - time to look to next May.

Kate was the most undeserving in my opinion; all she did was get drunk frequently. I also think that she has a chip on her shoulder, as she cannot stand the fact that both Alex & Jade have been more successful than her since leaving the house.

I may be wrong but Kate is on network television for 2 hours a day 5 days a week... what exactly are Alex and Jade doing????

One year later from the end of BB3 and all i've heard of Alex is on LBC 97.3 once a week for 5 minutes talking about BB4 and Jade has had a baby....

What are Alex and Jade doing for Kate not to stand them?

Kate has been very lucky to get these jobs, there are not many folks that like her, I recon she had loads of folks voting more than 100 times each, no one I know voted for her...

That might be your opinion that not many people liked her but I liked her, all my friends liked her and my dad loved her. In fact I dont know anyone who voted for any of the other lot last year.

I run a pub and last year it was a split between Kate and Alex as to who the punters I spoke to about BB liked. This year it was Ray.

I don't recall exactly what Kate was purported to get for her RI:SE deal but I'm guessing a year of it probably equates to the 3 figure sum that Alex received for his one day's work on the Domestos ads.
How good for him was that overall too - he is still referring to it - he was on Loose Women on ITV, Fri, they made a joke of the bleach by presenting him with a bottle and he was laughing at himself, "I'd like to thank my family for this......" etc etc - excellent. Laughing all the way to the bank.

Aside from his years' earnings in one day and everything else he has done since on which I'm sure I do not need to elaborate, I would also assume that Alex has received considerably more financial reward than Kate per week during BB for his reporting on lbc 3 times a week and his column for Now.
In addition to his other TV appearances throughout for example Friday ITV Loose Women ( three quarters of the whole show with Fed on for the last quarter, Alex's second appearance - they like him) and Celebdaq for the whole show in the evening (also his second appearance, they like him too).
Edit - actually his third appearance, he was at the party a few weeks ago, was interviewed and constantly asked for his opinion throughout.

Alex has chosen very wisely, as with Jade, he has maximised his earnings for the minimum work.
Kate meanwhile gets up at some ungodly hour in the middle of the night and suffers the indignity of the awful RI:SE for probably relatively little remuneration knowing C4/RI:SE and their pay.
I actually do think that Kate has improved, has more confidence and is beginning to hold her own against Ian who to me is becoming more irritating by the week - not sure I would put her remotely in the professional category yet but I have found her more amusing recently.

However if we look at the hours on network television as per your post / financial gain, I would say that Alex comes out of that considerably better and has a damn good life too.
Good choices.

Alex has done very well financially but Kate hasn't done too bad either and still has regular media work, whereas apart from being dragged out to make a few passing comments on BB4, Alex can more or less say that his media career is now behind him.

I agree with the first part, they have both done OK and as I said I am more impressed with Kate recently than I was before.

I must disagree with the second part, if we only take the last week, Alex has been on Loose Women Friday (OK you could knock it but it is on ITV and they do seem to attract good guests) for 3 of the four segments with Fed only on for the last - it was a good show actually, then in the evening for the whole of Celebdaq, interviewed throughout plus in the background when not, his third appearance on that recently, plus his lucrative reporting for lbc and Now.

Apparently he is in talks for presenting a 'real car show' also plus one or two other things that will be screened soon.

I'm not really comparing him to Kate here, only in the context of the post that I replied to, they have both done OK in their different ways.
I do think Alex has made some good choices though.

I am beginning to take your posts with a pinch of salt though as I said before bystander, you used to truly be a 'bystander' and make some intelligent interesting points, nowadays most of your posts seem to be petty, inflammatory anti-Alex or indeed others.
Disappointing.

Hi, anon, did you see Shrieking Women ?

I did, but must have been distracted by the shrieking, ''cos I can't remember it clearly

I thought Alex pretty much said that work had dried up, that he guessed this would happen after a year, that he had made lots of money - most of which had gone into property in Germany, that he was having to leave his flat because his flatmate now had a proper job, that he was thinking of moving back in with his parents, that he was thinking about getting a proper job himself now, probably modelling abroad again

Is that not a fair summary ?

Hi Swing,
lol, yes that's a fair summary.

The 'shrieking woman' was Helen - Alex, next to her, repeatedly made faces and blocked his ear before finally interrupting with 'you are loud aren't you?' which drew applause from the audience. She was entertaining though in her own special way lol.

I don't think Alex was saying that work had dried up so much as it wasn't as forthcoming as in the beginning, which one would expect. I think he's still doing OK though, he was more saying that he wasn't above going back to his job if necessary but I would be surprised if he does it anytime soon.

Alex also said in an interview recently that he was flat-hunting as his current flatmate has other plans, I got the impression that moving back with his parents would be a temporary measure if necessary, whilst looking elsewhere.
