Why thank you sir. Though I am slightly disturbed that I mean so much to you that you feel the desire to cyberstalk me. Each to their own eh.

I enjoy reading your posts as well, for the sheer irrationality of them. However, I wouldn't call that stalking you.

Well for starters "Of you go" is not an English grammatical construction.

I am not alone in perceiving you to have an irrational hatred of the iPhone. However my love of the iPhone is rational (I would say that of course). The reason I claim that is because my view of the iPhone is based upon the fact that I have owned one for almost a year and (for me) it works brilliantly and is streets ahead of any other phone I have tried (including the N95).

I used to have an N95 and it was one of the most unreliable phones I have possessed. It was cheaply made and very buggy.
Aside from that the menu system was illogically structured...I was glad to get rid of it.

The iPhone makes for a much more satisfactory user experience

Hi all. www.audiko.net will do your ring tones for you. There are a lot already done but you can upload whatever you want and select the part you want. You can then download it, play it in iTunes and then synch to the iPhone. I've done loads.

Regards,
Ian

Wait a second, did you not admit logging on JUST to read my posts? How very sad is that??? I am flattered, but you need to get out more. Join a dating agency or something. Just stop fixating on me eh.

No, Mr Denson, that is a silly spelling mistake - most certainly not an example of being irrational. You'll have to do better I'm afraid. By the way, have you ever made a spelling mistake?

Oh here we go again - massive yawn. I don't hate the iPhone at all. I can just see its limitations. Something that certain people seem totally unable to do. In my opinion (you do agree I'm entitled to one don't you?) it is not the great device that you think it is. Each to their own I say. And my own is a Blackberry Curve.

That makes no sense.

You say that his dislike (like mine) of the iphone is irational yet your love for it is rational?

Surely your love of it is only rational to you and not everyone same as ricardos dislike of the iphone

Personally i don't like the n95 but i would say its miles ahead of the iphone in terms of functionality. Look wise the iphone wins but that's about all it wins on.

I nearly bought an iphone last week amid the price drop which i feel is more suited to a phone of its specs but after playing with it again instore i decided not to bother.

Well no offence Neo, but i would have been amazed if u did like the iPhone, your anti-apple posts are legenary on the forums, everyone knows u as the resident Apple hater.

From someone who owns an iPhone and had an N95 before (two actually, the first one failed) the iPhone is streets ahead. Easier intergration into my life with iTunes, calender etc. Web browsing on the iPhone is light years ahead of the n95. Emailing better on iPhone, the battery life on the n95 is awful, I could never get through a day without it dying on me.

Sorry but apple hate/love aside, the iPhone may not do as much as the n95 (then who really needs a 5 megapixel video camera in their pocket 24/7?) but the stuff the iPhone does do, it does way better. Thats not even counting the look, user interface and much more reliable handset.

Chocolate_boy has replied eloquently on my behalf, but as far as your comments about rationality are concerned - my opinion is based upon almost a year of using it in anger compared with your "playing with it in store". I'm sorry but there is no comparison between our experiences. All I know is that everything I want to do with a phone the iPhone does it ten times better than any other phone I've ever had.

I have you don't I? The man who is so interested in my musings that you feel compelled to log on just to read my posts. How very sweet of you. Though as a heterosexual male, I am also a tad unsettled by your attention.

No only apple fans know me as that. The difference between you and i is i see past the brand and don't believe for 1 min they are the best unlike some people. If that makes me a hater when i have owned plenty of their things then so be it.

Yep that's great for you, only i know several people who have owned the iphone and sold it to get something better and in their opinion they have.

Each to their own i suppose. Some people don't like hauling an SLR around with them 24/7 so makes good sense to the folk who want it.

Do i have to be a fan to agree with his opinion?

Ok then that makes tdenson your fan then.

My opinion is based on using it since and before it came out here from various friends and family that have had one.

So my opinion does count.

That's good for you. My point is that's YOUR opinion and being that doesn't make it fact.

If the iphone was ten times better than any other phone which clearly it isn't, wouldn't everyone want one and indeed have one?

I mean lets face it, they can be unlocked, are comparable to any other phone in terms of price now so it isn't aimed at a specific market anymore.

I don't think you do see past the brand though mate, you see Apple and instantly take a dislike, which is just as bad as being a "fanboy".

Nothing wrong with my spell-chocker!

Ah but i do see past it. I look for quality in my products.

For instance, the ipod, good player yet most other players are much much better.

The iphone while nice to look at and funky touch screen has the specs of a phone you could buy 5 years ago.

Macs, well i started my computing life on them but never felt comfortable on OSX. The machines themselves i think are ok but not to my taste. To plain and bland for me.

So really i don't hate the brand at all, what i do hate is the religion that surrounds it saying if you don't like anything apple your a t wat. Which of course i have been called a few times on here coz i don't like something made by apple.
