I've only seen the Sun and the Mirror today but neither of them mentioned Cameron's booing at the final last night. I'm surprised at the Mirror - they pick up any chance they can to diss BB so I thought they would have jumped on any crowd disapproval from the winner.

How come it wasn't reported?

And when Davina mentioned Steph.......athen Davina went on to say.......You cant boo em!

Its all over the papers are lazy and can't be bothered to get into controversy at this stage!

So why on earth would the winner of BB4's bad reception and subsequent cover-up with piped crowd noise not have made the papers - there must have been enough journo's down there?!?

I and others on here heard boos when Cameron's name was mentioned and when he was announced the winner.

A couple of FM who went to the eviction said Cameron got some boos when he left the house and that the crowd weren't very enthusiastic. One said it seemed like crowd cheers were being played over the speakers.

I don't believe that - Kevin O'Sullivan has used his daily column to spit vitriol at BB and it's producers since the start - why would he miss a damning crowd verdict like that?

Maybe it didn't happen...except in the minds of the anti-cam brigade.

I just watched the final again on E4. It was no different to last night, there were boos at the very start for both Cameron and Steph, but after that none. The crowd were just as entusiastic at the end as they were at the start. They ALL got a good reception on leaving the house, which is only fair.

All the papers I have read dont even know who the winner was yet! Maybe they print differnt papers closer to london

All the stories were written and ready to go to press as soon as the winner was announced, probably even before with their contacts inside BB letting them know how the voting was going. They’d prepared copy for Scott, Ray and even Steph.

That's probably true of the early edtions but the copy of the Mirror I got today had reports on Davina's interview with Cameron and photos of all 4 finalists coming out - plus Cameron with his hands to his temples when he heard the result on the front page so that obviously wasn't pre-written.

So WHY no mention of any booing?!?

what a farce lol cameron wasnt booed he left to a great reception the only boos happened when jon tried to sayc ameron was playing a game the vcrowd didnt like that at all

There was some booing when Jon mentioned Cameron but the crowd were booing Jon for still being spiteful to Cameron.

They also booed when Camerons vote number graphic came up. Cameron also commented to Ray that he heard boos.

Well then why did the crowd boo again when Davina read out the phone number for Cameron?

That doesn't really square with the cheers Jon received when he left the house on the final night.

If Channel 4 had doctored the audio to cover up booing when Cameron left the house - why has it not been reported ANYWHERE other than this forum???

What? Unless you read it in The Sun you can’t believe the evidence of your own eyes and ears as well as testament from FMs who were there? They’ve been playing crowd noise into the house to cover outside noise for weeks. Doesn’t take much lateral thinking to see and hear that that’s exactly what happened on Friday as well.

My own personal theory is the papers see more money to be made playing their part in the fiction, the small town boy done good BS as opposed to the wholesale fakery that went on.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the tabloids were more interested in including the word VIRGIN as many times as possible in their copy.
