Sorry. You can't sing.

I don't mean to be harsh. But you asked for opinions... and thats mine.

OK, i've listened to it and it's not the best singing i've ever heard. However, i CAN hear that there is a good voice there and at least your tuning is (mostly) on. (Although sometimes a bit flat).

As far as the pitch goes I'm never very impressed with singing which hovers around the middle C area (sorry, piano player here). Although the lighthouse family's singing is low.

Can't you sing it an octave higher (not falceto though!) or try to transpose it up at least 4 tones? How good is your range?

Oh, and maybe try and reduce the amout of vibrato (trembling) in your voice although you did say you usually sing broadway stuff so it's fine for that.

As longs that you enjoy singing then that's all that matters. Brave of u to ask for people's opinions btw, i would be too worried about bad comments.

Oh I definitely give you plenty of kudos for having the balls to ask opinion.

But...

Your singing from the throat, out of tune (but not out of key... so it can be remedied)

Your voice seems to wobble off of the note. Vibrato. You need to know where and when to use vibrato for effect... Because you just sound like your doing a David Bowie impression at the mo...

To me, it sounds like your voice is still breaking... and needs a bit more time to settle down before you look at singing...

(Your voice may have broke 2 years ago, but it still sounds like it's settling down somewhat)

Maybe some lessons won't go a miss... It'd let you learn how to sing properly, especially if your looking at Broadway/Stage style.

You've picked a song out of your range also. Obviously so...

Try recording something that you believe suits you more...

So seriously... Take some lessons!!! Can't hurt if you enjoy it... The sooner you do that, the more you benefit in the future...
