Raef is pure comedy value.
He needs to have an episode where he shines...the laundry task has left me wanting more - he's a classic.
he's "tre-esque" to me - last year I hated Tre in the first ep and then he grew on me - the same has happened with Raef.
Come on Raef! Bring us some comedy!!!

He doesn't need to. The man is royalty....or at least he should be

I burst out laughing when everyone else walked into the main room of the house in their PJs and Raef walks in wearing a really posh bathrobe with well combed hair.

I was sat there wondering if the man's hair looks like that when he wakes up.

I would like more of these moments though.

but raef isnt just there for pure entertainment he has shown great business accumen he is a peoples person and LIKEABLE BY HIS TEAM

its unfair to tag raef as a tre or a syed or any of the other brash characters

they didnt have a chance to win

but raef i would say has a huge chance to win

he isnt annoying like tre

Am with you on this, I had a right fit of the giggles when I saw Raef totally groomed and the others so dishevelled

The team winning the laundry task had very little to do with Raef. While the work was being delivered by Alex, Simon and Lee, Raef was sauntering in and out of bars and taxis with Kevin and Michael.

I would like to see Raef step up ..................... and off.

Incorrect. Raef was striking up deals. And when he returned to the laundrette, he grafted as hard as anyone.

The Apprentice is about entertainment value and finding someone with busniess acumen. So far only Raef ticks both boxes.

GAh! Can people please stop comparing him to Tre and Syed? I don't get where that comes from at all. I couldn't stand those two. And I think Raef is kind of awesome.

I just genuinely don't get the comparision. Raef doesn't seem like a gobby sexist disrespectful loudmouth at all. He's definitely articulate, much more so than Tre or Syed, but he doesn't need to talk all the time like they did. He doesn't get a huge amount of screentime, except in that one episode where he was team leader (it's always quality when he does, though. )

Where are people seeing similarities? It confuses me. I liked him in the first episode, though, and thought Alex was a complete weasel-- which doesn't seem to have been a typical reaction. So maybe that's why I don't get it.

I thought Raef shiowed his shortcomings tonight for the very first time

He had no idea about the exclusivity aspect and got off very lightly

I think his persona hides his inabilities and shortcomings very well but I think he will fall foul in the long run as they are recognised.

thank god someone else agrees that the raef syed and tre comparisons are really incorrect and unfair to someone of raef's calibre and ability

he kicks syed and tre's ass in every department

raef to win

I agree with brightlights, even though I liked Tre, I think Raef is completely different. I thought both of them were funny, but for different reasons. And I find Raef a much more likable person, Tre did get on my nerves at times. And I think Raef is a much better candidate than Tre was. I can't comment on Syed because I didn't see that series.

I also liked Raef in the first episode, although then it was just for the entertainment value - but on the second week he proved himself as a great manager and candidate, and I thought he did good this week too.

"Hi I'm Raef, CEO of Alpha luxury ice cream".

Looks good next week. Raef was doing a presentation on greeting cards.

I think Raef as done enough so far.

In week one, he was noticed by SAS when he was taken back into the boardroom. Ive always thought being on the loosing team in the boardroom can be an advantage if the contestant fights and survives. I mean, at least SAS got to know him a little.

He was project manager for week 2, his team won and his team gave him a big thumbs up in the boardroom, SAS seemed impressed with that.

The rest of the competition so far he has been fairly quiet, he as kept his head down and got on with things. Good on him. I think this is the way to do it. I think we will see more from Raef when the time is right for him.

Similar clip on your fired, with Lee and Michael in bed bare chests out and Raef in his posh PJ's and Bathrobe looking like he had just stepped out of brideshead revisted

He already has stepped up, he was team leader the week they did the laundry task and the other guys seemed to think he was a great team leader. I think he's great.

Yes I agree with you.

And sorry to spoil the Raef fan club here

But I really thought tonight was his weakest show and he was damned lucky to be a man with good looks or he could quite easily have been the one drawn into the boardroom tonight.

I like Raef....but this past week or so, he really does need to step up a game or two IMO

I'll piss off now out of the thread

WOOHOO there are two of us!! I think it was the first episode - hard to shift initial impressions and he DID talk his socks off there.

I LOVE Raef, hated him at first but think he's great now. The comparisons to Tre and Syed are daft because he's absolutely nothing like them. He's a much nicer guy than they were.

However the past two weeks I have been a little concerned at his anonymity. I feel he was a little lucky with the laundry task and he's been flying under the radar. He could have easily been taken into the boardroom last night.

I think Luncinda took the right 2 into the boardroom, there was absolutely no reason for her to take Raef in, he did his bit, and didn't rock the boat. Hes a grand chap and does contribute to the tasks as a team player. Only guys you can say are team players are raef & Lee

I just hope he gets to the interview stage. I can definitely foresee some tension between him and the interviewers then, with Raef waxing lyrical as usual.

No more so than any of the other applicants. He has been the only person to remain calm & unruffled under pressure - useful qualities to have when being interrogated.

yeah in the boardroom he didnt give the wrong answers to sir alan yesterday and he didnt make a prat of himself either

i honestly do think about that final interview with sir alans friends

he may perform well but his posh accent may put them off a little

i mean he speaks better than most of them anyway
