Lucinder - You Have My Support Mate!
Sid_1979
23-04-2008
Aside from Raef, only Lucinder has shown the qualities needed to manage a team successfully.

She was calm, she made intelligent decisions, she saw potential problems, she was pleasant towards her team, she maintained morale, she was fair and she took in a lot of money.

I sense the other female contestants feel extremely threatened by Lucinder's cool and collective approach because it merely amplifies their own aggressive, duplicitous approach to the game. Hence their overt hostility towards the lass.

Only the boys seem to acknowledge Lucinder's talents.

Well I do too. Lucinder has my full support. I hope to see her battling it out with Raef in the final!

Whose with me?!

Not sure if I like her enough to want her at the final, but I do like her now. Before I just felt bad for her and thought she was a lovely person, but now I see her as a good candidate. Sir Alan seems to like her as well. I want to see her last longer than Jenny and Helene at least.

Love her Loved the way she managed her team tonight- I just hope she can go on to show she has even more to offer.

Oh me too. That would make this series worthwhile and send out the right message that you don't need to be a bitch to succeed.

Agreed.

I want to see Lucinder go from strength to strength.

The other girls have lied and manipulated and bullied her relentlessly. But she's maintained her dignity and I wish her lots of luck

I agree she is an excellent manager and several of the others are clearly jealous of her and threatened by her. I hope she stays longer than Clare, Helene and Jennifer.

Apparently she
Spoiler
gets fired with Helene in Week 7
but I love her - her audition is hilarious. I think she got off lightly tonight but still showed great skills and kept her business head screwed on (due to her bringing Lindi into the BR instead of her "arch enemy" Helene)

Btw her name is LUCINDA, not Lucinder. Maybe it's just me, but I remember names to faces after the first 1 or 2 eps so get a bit peed off when people forget names at week5/6 lol!

I like her. She seems very compassionate and caring, despite what she has had to put up with and I thought she did very well as project manager this week and was unlucky not to win the task, which largely due to the failures' of the sales team. Selling ice cream to an ice cream maker-wth?!
I certainly hope she goes further than Clare, Jenny and Helene, though I doubt it.

I was very impressed by Lucinda this evening. Her management style was more modern and "nurturing" female type than those females who think they have to be tougher than any male.

Exactly. It made a refreshing change and just goes to show you don't need to run a Hitler type regime to manage a team successfully.

Lucinder may be "different" but that doesn't render her any less capable.

Good job we are not all the same as you then and are tolerant of others

Well said. It's an easy enough error to make. I just get over-excited in my support for Lucinda and my spelling goes to pot lol

I fear you may be disappointed. She did seem like a good manager, but has been pretty poor when given something tangible to do. And as she probably won't be task manager again, she's just going to end up in the boardroom too often to be hired, as the others have her pegged as weak. I can't see just being a good manager being enough to impress Sir Alan in the long run.

Well I think we can discount her difficulties in the photography task - she made it quite clear that wasn't her forte, but Helene insisted on her filling the technical role. I think the fact that although the others have bullied her, she has refused to crumble says much in her favour.

Who would I rather have in my team - the bully or the one who rises above the bullying? No brainer.

Love her too. She's the only one I'd work for. I wouldn't stay 5 minutes in a job with those other bitches!

i hate double evictions - you don't get to see as much of the candidate of 'your fired'. I'd want a whole half hour with her with Adrian Chiles.
