I've done a lot of temping back in the day and...

Lucinda I'd happily work for, Sara very possibly.

Helene at a push, but not for long.

None of the other girls. All completely what I hate about the way some women feel they have to be to get on in business. I'm now a manager of a small team, and I would never, ever behaved in the way they do.

Raef I'd work for in a heartbeat (which is a complete turnaround from my first impression), I'd imagine he's quite lovely and a hoot. Lee McQueen possibly, just so long as he's not concerned the entire time and he's quite nice eye candy anyway *shallow moment*. Michael possibly at a stretch, although I get the impression he's actually quite usless and you'd end up clearing up his messes half the time.

Alex - nope, probably find him okay at first, but he'd never have your back and happily lie to save his own skin, Kevin, far too ridiculous to ever take seriously as a boss.

As a boss, I think Simon would have been ideal. Sara might well be good, though she did make a bit of a botch of the task she was PM on, and was very lucky that the other team botched it worse. Helene, funnily enough, might not be too bad if she respected you (I think the problem with Lucinda was that Helene despised her).

Lucinda is nice, but too weak to be much of a boss, as shown when she dropped the idea of mixing the teams the second she got a negative vibe. I feel a good manager would have asked why they didn't like the idea, dropped it if they came up with good arguments against it, but insisted on it if they didn't.

Jenny C would be hell on earth.

As for colleagues, I think Simon, Sara and Lucinda would be great. Lindi would brighten up my day as long as she wasn't given anything important to do.

I think Lucinda and Raef would be great to work with. I also think Sara would be quite good but I haven't seen much from her so it's not really a clear indication.

I think Lee might be alright, just he seems to get slightly over-angry at times so that might not be a good mix

I don't want to work with Claire, Alex, Jenny and Jen.

I'm not sure about Raef. I get the feeling he would delegate so much he'd be spending each day posing in a restaurant while the rest of us did the work.

I've always liked working for other women, but as far as the candidates are concerned I think Simon or Lee would be the best to work for. Sara's not too bad either.

As an IT consultant I've met quite a few people with elements of Raef's personality (ordering lattes when they should be working). So although he is very charming and would be nice to meet in a social context, I think I would find him annoying to work with.

Lucinda seems to have a good management style but I didn't like the exchange with Helene and so wouldn't trust her.

I don't like any of the others (in fact some of them are vile).

DaniB, I too have nightmare stories of being a female worker with female bosses. After our struggle for emancipation it's tragic that women generally make such undesirable bosses. I would rather be under a male, so to speak, any day. In fact, the only female boss I've ever liked, respected, and felt comfortable with was one who was very like Lady Thatcher - quite cold and masculine but therefore not prone to hissy fits or giggly bitch sessions!

Who would I rather have as a boss amongst the Apprentice shower?

None of the women, ever. But definately SAS himself or maybe Raef, Lee at a pinch.

Helene or Claire? When hell freezes over.

I think that Lee would be a good work colleague and manager. He seems to be honest and hardworking, has a sense of fairness and would get on well with most people.
