I have ALWAYS been an advocate of "good" business, in an identical way to Lucinda. Get a good morale going, realise that the "little guys" are just as important as the "big guys", because they are the ones doing the work too, ensure everybody is completely honest and ALWAYS speaks what's on their mind. Tell the truth because you'll never be caught out. If you have to cheat to get somewhere, just don't go there. I'd rather leave with my soul intact.
Until the most recent episode I have been crying inside by the apparent turn in The Apprentice; this year has seen the bitchiest and most "ruthless" candidates yet, and they are getting everyone else fired! Business and this planet, in my opinion, is cruel enough without having a very popular show exacerbate it:
Week 1 - Alex destroys Nicholas for an inconsequential error (though Alex was probably the better candidate)
Week 2 - Jenny LIES completely about Shazia to get her out. Shazia's biggest fault was not speaking up about it.
Week 3 - Ian axed. No problem there really.
Week 4 - Simon backed into a corner by the most undesirable team selection possible. Seriously, if you were going to choose 5 people to NOT work for you properly in order to win...
Raef was the only candidate I had any respect for until this week. Now there's an opportunity to turn it around. I'm really glad Lee spoke up for Lucinda (he did it for Alex at one point as well). I thought Helene would be a trustworthy type, but I'm beginning to doubt it. Claire has, for now, transformed seemingly. Raef is still as genuine as he started out. Lucinda finally shone, and without being dishonest once. Jennifer was very concerned about the whole "snake/cold" thing that she asked the entire house about it - I don't think it's her intention.
What I'm asking for is to LET THE GOOD PEOPLE SUCCEED. I hate seeing the good guys leave early. I still think Jenny needs a kick up the arse, and Michael doesn't seem the nicest chap...
Thoughts, anyone?
