Does Sir Alan only want Yes men/women

Think about who has actually won The Apprentice

Tim, nice but dim, wouldnt say boo to a goose

Michelle lightweight

Simon again lightweight in the extreme

Think who came second

Syra who has done very well for herself

Ruth who has since done brilliantly in business

The other ones who have succeeded

Katie & the estate agent from the first series

Is it better not to win but to come second?

Tim was far from dim and he did stand up for himself.

Badger was robbed though.

I dont think SAS wants just Yes people, but he does want people who can slot into his company.

Was Simon that bad? He had some creative genius like 'Reclaim the street' which amazingly went down very well. He was good at selling if I recall well. (can't remember to much of last series tbh).

Perhaps Christina was better but he was a credible finalist in that series I think.

I think 'Reclaim the street' was Tre's idea if I remember correctly but Simon did the rap thing. During the series, Simon was outsold by Tre, Jadine, Katie, Lohit and Kristina. I am sure that Simon is very clever judging by his academic record and the interviews stage. However, he did not show any business acumen whatsoever during the 12 weeks. But I think he will improve after working with SAS for 2 to 3 years.
