Onkyo TX-NR905 Speaker Help
I've got my TX-NR905 connected up to 7.1 and run the auto speaker setup, which worked fine and all the speakers are available. However, if I listen to a stereo source and set the listening mode to stereo, the subwoofer doesn't seem to work, and when I look at the speaker setting on the display, it shows only Front-left and Front-right as being active, no mention of subwoofer. Is there a setting to make the subwoofer work with stereo sources? I'm having the same problem when watching programmes from Sky+ which is connected via optical. The speakers only show FR & FL as active, even when the listening mode is surround.
Can anyone please advise me? Thanks. |

if you look at page 84 of manual it says stereo only front right/ left
http://www.eu.onkyo.com/dl/1024083/M...0TXNR905_1.pdf its a really complex manual and perhaps someone with the amp can help you further |

My 605 runs the subwoofer in stereo mode, but not in 'pure' mode - so check that's not enabled.
