Well least its going to be longer then my tape of the original BB. Should be interesting viewing if they include the bits the News Of The World has mentioned. Lets just hope they don't edit it in someone's favour. Hope they've learnt from there mistakes!

last year's "Uncut" <ahem> 3 DVD was 170 mins total including bonus material. Subtract non-HM footage , eg Avid Merrion, the 'applying for big brother' featurette at the beginning, and there's barely little more than 2 hours. Subtract the audition tapes (though I consider those an essential bonus feature) and there's in fact only 100 minutes of actual BB3 footage......nearly all of which was 'As seen on C4'.
Surely on entertainment merit of footage available, it should have been last year that deserved 210 minutes, and this year 100 minutes (if they can pad it out to that)?

The selling angle is certainly quantity rather quality this year.
Last year they knew they get away with little footage (short changing us) because of the sucess of BB3 and there was demand for it. This year, not so much.

Well, it is rather convenient for the BB swap guy, El Sham, to have won BB4. It makes for good DVD filler. Good selling point that, Endemol.

Last year there were 'spoilers' in one of the papers of what the 'uncut' dvd would contain saying all this stuff about having to cut 20 minutes to get an 18 certifcate. This turned out to be bull****, it even managed to get a 15 certificate.
It looks like they are using to anouska footage from australia to sell it this year, lets not forget the no nudity clause in their contracts this might apply to dvd/vhs this year too. Still at least this year they might remember to bleep/remove/edit out contestants home phone numbers in audition tapes!!

I'll be waiting for your reviews before deciding whether or not to shell out for this. I have no interest in the fudgemuncher or the gerbil, no interest in Anouska drunk and whoring, I'd like to see more of Scott Ray, Fed and Jon. If the main thrust of the thing is to pimp the fudgemuncher then i won't be bothering.
