Are you not thinking of Craig from BB1 . Can't say I've noticed with Cameron, but I'll look out for it.

You sounded exactly like Sean Connery then.

Actually I haven’t taken part in this thread, as like sawfish said, it’s impossible to have a rational argument re Cameron, not because of the dislike (I use the word dislike rather than hatred, my hatred is aimed at BB/Endemol for their blatantly biased editing in favour of Cameron) for him on this forum, but because of the obvious biasness of his fans, who have moved heaven and earth to sweep under the carpet and ignore the patently obvious character faults which he has displayed on numerous occasions within the BB house.

Is Cameron a Decent Guy? Who knows, depends on what is meant by a “decent guy”, I wouldn’t even consider myself a decent guy, average maybe but not decent, I know what my faults are and can quite happily admit to them, unlike some deluded wannabe.

But a decent guy to me doesn’t ignore women in distress, a decent guy doesn’t get involved in all night bitching sessions, a decent guy doesn’t threaten others behind their backs with violence on a number of occasions, a decent guy doesn’t hold anti gay views, a decent guy doesn’t go about deceiving people, could mention eggs, scissors, shower gel, shoes, etc, etc, but I’m sure you get the drift.

Now that’s what I’ve learned from watching him for 9 weeks, what have Cameron fans seen on screen, which override the negative points, that makes them claim he’s a decent guy?

By all means put positive points forward, but those points need to be of substance, not just some fantasy guesswork that leads Cam fans to believe they are positive character traits of Cameron. Just because Cam fans say he’s a decent guy doesn’t mean he is, if Cam fans want people to believe Cameron is a decent guy, then they need to put forward and argue his positive character points, real ones not imagined ones, at the moment all I see are posters arguing on Cameron’s behalf by trying to argue against and dismissing the negative points about his character that have been put forth on this forum, without actually putting a positive point forward. Ie: So far the argument about Cameron’s anti gay views have descended into an argument on interpretations, on what was asked and what was said by Cameron, the more the argument has develops, the more that question and subsequent answer has been twisted, from being asked about whether gay couples should have equal rights, we have ended up with Cameron being asked if he agrees with gay marriages, which are two different questions. No Cameron fan has yet put forward a positive argument that would indicate Cameron has pro gay views, no one has posted anything that would suggest Cameron doesn’t have anti gay views as he stated, as per the bible. You don’t make a positive point by trying to dismiss a negative point as if it hadn’t occurred.

As for the disgruntled Jon fans, I’m getting tired of this, THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE WHO DISLIKE CAMERON WHO ARE NOT JON FANS. This constant attempt to blame everything on Jon fans, just seems like a pathetic attempt at deflecting from the truth, that is, you already know that you haven’t got a rational argument to defend the indefensible, so you revert to obscuring the lack of substance in your argument by introducing the “you don’t listen because you’re a biased sore losing Jon fan” line.

I laugh all the time too, because I’m happy at the fact I can see and admit the good points and faults in the HM I liked and therefore have not put them on an over extended pedestal that they don’t belong on, unlike others who are deluded into believing that the HM they have liked, is the most decent, funniest, fit guy in Britain today and can do no wrong. But hey if being deluded makes them happy, then go for it: just don’t expect others to follow blindly like sheep.

Believe me I know how privieged I am... I came from a council house background with an unemployed father and so little food I weighed 6 stone at the age of 18 (and it wasn't fashionable to be thin then!). I started work at McDonalds while still at school (6th form) and used to work 18 hour shifts at the weekend to take home some money.

I have then continued to work hard and long for the last 15 years to get to where I am now.

I didn't come to this forum looking for sympathy, I was merely commenteing on people's opinions (notice the name of this thread?) on the fact that Cameron earns £100,000...

You have a point KazzaL, not many people earn that sort of money without having to work hard for it, and I'm quite sure Cam wasn't handed his job on a plate (so to speak).

I think most people have moved on from the actual amount he earns now - the thing that annoys me is that I feel that most people who only have channel 4 were duped into believing that Cameron is something he is not.

A fish trader brings an image to mind which is not that of the European Manager of a company that deals in fish trading. I made the point previously that not all people have access to the internet nor do they purchase daily papers .... so are reliant on information obtained and provided by Channel 4.

In his application video, he came across as a an islander who had not much life or world experience ... Channel 4 and BBLB continued to give this and even promote this image.

Its this duping / bias that irritates me.

In this thread, if you took the time to go back to page 8, I posted an example how this has been portrayed:

BIG BROTHER winner Cameron Stout has vowed to return to his job selling fish in the Orkneys.

From Daily Record

-----------

In the above statement, where does it indicate the managerial position he has? Where does it state that he is in fact the European Manager of the company?

Channel 4 and BBLB continually mislead the general viewing public with their statements regarding Camoron - I believe this was intentional.

C4 and relevant programmes played down his position within the company - they gave little or no indication that he was well travelled and lived abroad in various countries. 2 of my sisters who watch BB and BBLB sometimes, had no idea of his true occupation or world experience and had not realised he was anything other than a market trader ...

A market trader where we live (close to the dying fish industry) is somewhat different to that position as held by Camoron.

Give it a rest, how much longer can people continue to drag up newspaper articles on Cameron and fish. Are you obsessed. Leave the man alone, let him get on with his life and why not try to get on with your own.

just the two questions :

1. Where does Cameron live?
2. What does his job primarily involve?

Might the answers possibly have anything to do with *selling fish in the Orkneys*?

there is no *conspiracy* here......

Could it also be that The Daily Record are paraphrasing Cameron's job title for the masses? It certainly takes up less ink to write 'fish trader' than 'European Regional Distribution Manager for X company plc'!

It could well be that, or it could be quite simply that he trades in fish!
