Oh nearly missed the last point.

Cameron is 32 - spent 4 years abroad and 2 at University.

Thats 26 years he's spent in the Orkneys.

How old are you ?
”

Aha - I never signed up to Big Brother and so do not have to have my life discussed in intimate detail This would have been explained to Cameron of course so don't feel sorry for him.....As a matter of interest...How did Cameron get away with only two years at university? Most people go for at least three to get their degrees.....Did he fit in an Open University course whilst flying back and forth to the US?

In essence, we were to be fed a Cameron who has lived in a vacuum for 30 odd years whereas he's as savvy as anyone else form anywhere else. His origin has proved handy in fostering a sepia-tinted view of the unspoiled Cameron...
What rot. The thing that grates is that Cameron "acted the part" in BB whereas we and he all know he's not slow in coming forward in reality. He's as fake as C4's overtly pathetic editting and essentially he won a gilded turd. Good. Suits him.

You have missed out:

- time lived and worked in France
- time lived and worked in Spain

- Time spent travelling (quite extensive)

Camoron has been to SA at least 3 times we have been made aware of, spends time on the continent due to his position and works some time of the year from the USA

I have no fecking idea, i just guess that he might have spent that on postgrad as it could fit if you do it part-time

http://www.napier.ac.uk/pg/default.asp?w=5&x=5

"If you’re already working, and need your postgrad study to fit around the demands of your profession, we offer web-based programmes so you can learn when it suits you best. We know how important it is to be flexible, and this is the great benefit of our MBA course – you can take it part-time, full-time or by distance learning. We’re also about to launch a new fast-track two-year MBA."

I think he did an MBA or something like that, but since they say its new maybe not

Just your standard run of the mill Orcadian fish seller then?

Some newspaper should just list all of Cameron's accomplishments, countries visited and complete background -- complete with pics of him in an expensive suit and large office -- and be done with it.

I'm sure the supporters of his who were not clued in would feel silly then. Oh dear, did I just hear that Julyan, his media-savvy brother, helped to make the application video that portrayed him as an island yokel? Occch nooo.

Besides, if his actual job, salary and history had been disclosed in the video and to the HMs, would that have made a difference to his survival chances in the BB house? Oh yes, it would have. But, hey, the diary room moments of him looking around wide-eyed and innocent were always too good to be true.

BTW, maybe a BBUSA applicant who works as the Head Technician for NASA R&D can take a leaf out of Cameron's book and list his occupation as simply "mechanic". Man alive!

Julyan is a TV presenter on Grampian Television thats all. He's not some media mogul capable of influencing C4 to let Cameron win as you suggest.

”

Is he? That's news to me, I thought he was a presenter for STV, although Grampian is owned by STV and do show some of their shows including "The Point", it does have seperate studios (which are just along the road from me) and presenters etc.

If he took his degree at a Scottish University, it would have taken four years.

Ignoring your misplaced sarcasm I had a genuine point...How does anyone get a degree in only two years......If you don't know the answer then fair enough...

If it helps he only lived in France for two months on a placement during University and similar in Spain but I don't recall him mentioning how long he was there for, only that he had at least 8 weeks of The Orcadian sent out to him!

Not that I was ever a Cam fan (ahem) but I'm crossing over to the other side.
You guys have convinced me.
And Matt.B tried to diffuse an argument I got myself into the other day (on this here thread I believe).

Sorry if my attempt at humour offended you.....to be serious as you ask, as others have suggested maybe he did it part time or partly by long-distance learning - or maybe some of his industrial experience gave him a "bye" from the first year or so. I gained my own professional qualification over 2 years instead of 3 due to relevant experience.

Ok I'm confused. How do you know he only spent two years at university? According to Friendsreunited he graduated from Napier in 1992, (normal age for graduates) having finished at Stromness academy in 1989.

If he was studying languages he would have had to spent some time on placement in the various countries.

I'm not really following this all - just chucking my two pennies in.

Alright then...Let's get official confirmation on this...Did he go to University for only two years or not...Does anyone have hard facts? And what is it in by the way?
