I like the Quick Change act, they were really something different and I don't have the slightest idea how it is done. I just think the woman should practise singing better, that's all.
However the singing should stop. It took away from the actual act.
I posted the link to the video of the amazing quick change artists from Americans Got Talent in the episode thread.
No "stage show" or singing needed. Just let the audience be amazed at the changing!
Think Simon was impressed she stood her crowd-but I hope she does realise she stinks and needs to shut up!

i missed this and am wondering if they are the same ones Piers hated in the US one. he kept saying they needed to do more than change clothes fast, so they added singing? i hope it isn't the same couple. From this post doesn't sound like it but are they similar?

Oh yes that would be preferable!

Not the same couple but same act indeed. He didn't like that act at all did he-I think he caused rows as well?!
I agree the act was extremely clever, but the singing was absolutely dire! Perhaps the woman will think about what was said and drop the singing - she will be VERY foolish if she doesn't. To stand up to Simon in public was brave - husband was a real wimp, just standing there saying nothing - but maybe she will realise Simon, and the others, do know what they are talking about.
I thought they were good, made a change from the same old stuff week after week and would certainly make the next round a bit brighter. But what does an old fart like me know!
I thought they were really good. They definitely need to lose the singing though, that was dreadful and detracted from the rest of the act. I also thought they need to polish up some of the changes as well, there were times when you could see her start to change before the curtain was completely covering her and it ruined the illusion a bit. But overall real potential and I’m glad they got through.

Yeah i think Simon put them through in the hope they change their minds about the singing before they get to the semi's. If they drop the singing they can perfect the quick change part, which was a bit off at times.
What was all that about the judges needing 2 minutes after this act and Simon saying "I think we have a problem".
I thought they were going to change their minds about letting the act through but they said no more about it?
I thought the woman was a little stubborn to stick to her guns about the singing tbh - if they were that desperate to further their career, surely they would have accepted the advice to drop the singing?

The "2 minutes" and the "we may have a problem" was due to the fact that was the only 2 minute act to have been put through so far that day. Hope that is clear as reading it back even Im confused? You will know what I mean.
Thanks Bert, yes I know what you mean
I was reading too much into it and thought they'd discovered something which meant the act had to be disqualified
Wonder if they can come up with anything to make the act different for the next round (apart from dropping the singing!). They had a quick change act in - I THINK - the America has talent show last year, but after 2 rounds they were out because they were boring.... different costumes but that was all, and they were a lot slicker than that couple on Saturday.
