I thought last years was better, because it was so close, and the right one won it in the end.
I do think that the production values and ideas in the Final of BB Australia makes ours look like amateur TV, and always has done.
Its much better entertainment.
Glad for Terri, still think Nobbi was the best HM this year, despite his faults.

And even for the final i could tell they wanted a terri win, by showing the faces for the 2nd time even though they said they wouldn't.

Anyone know what the final percentages were? I would love to know how close the votes were between Terri and Rory.
I hate it when a series of BB finishes, as it seems strange getting out of the routine of watching the show every morning. Having said that, I just haven't managed to get into BBUSA so far. I went to bed last night a totally forgot there was a show on.

Good final, great seeing all the others do a very dodgy dance (which i did enjoy)

I cant believe you guys didnt see that fix. That finale was laughable.
First they showed the faces, so terrifans can vote knowing she wasnt in front. THey they say they won show it again,until they realise it didnt favor terri,it favored ben. And finallythey changed their mind, to make sure terri wins. I mean it was a good BB and all, but Terri was always gonna win. Everytime they showed the faces was tomake sure she won. I thought that was pathetic TBH.

Or it could simply be a way to get more people voting if they thought their favourite may not win.
The final was amazing and loking back at those clips at the end reminded me that I do prefer BBAUS to any other.
Just compare that final with the one we show at the end of BB9.
Was great to see gretal and all the people that have helped make this show the best.

If that was the case,they woulve shown the final tally when there was 3 minutes left. I am sure at that point terry was leading so they idnt show it. tsnot even defendable, it was so obvious that was a farce!
Now thats all wrapped up, I'd have to say my placings of each season are as follows:
1. BB01 - Original and the best. Has my fave housemate of all time Sara-Marie. Everything about the show was fresh and innovative.
2. BB03 - Kicked off with a brilliant twist and there was rarely a dull moment from then on. The housemates were amazing and there was the best final 2 ever. First time my fave won as well.
3. BB05 - Although it suffered from the loss of such great characters of Constance, Nelson, Angela etc. so early on, it was still a great series. Especially loved Vesna. The end result was pretty poo though.
4. BB08 - I got really involved this year and have really enjoyed it. Although there were a few patchy areas, e.g. new hosts, ever changing voting etc. it was still a very good series.
5. BB02 - Although a great series, the fact the half the episodes are missing and that the ones that aren't are such dismal quality has depressed me enough to place it here. Maybe if I got to watch it all properly the ranking will change, because it looks like a really decent series.
6. BB04 - Did have some great housemates and some very memorable moments e.g. the Merlin incident and Bree being falsely evicted. However, there are some parts which are quite dull. I can still remember that brilliant music video they did though (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=x1wjA7xWf0M)
7. BB07 - My first AUSBB, the first time around watching it was brilliant and I still think it is. It just doesn't look as good when compared to the other series. However, the final 2 were great.

I get confused with who was in what series but for me this season ruled them all.
BB5 was second because of fantastic HMs like Katie Vesna and tim and I loved the tasks..the one that always sticks in my mind was the dancing with the dummies sabotage mission.
Third place would have to be BB7 because of some great comical moments like michelle in the police academy task.
I loved zach as well and wanted him to win.
Looks like I prefered the later series..I found a few of the earlier ones to slow paced.

SO well done to Terri. I think that makes her the oldest BB winner anywhere in the world. A lot older than Evel Dick last year in America. Glad Rory didn't win. I prefered the winner being annouced in the house though
As I have said before Brigitte was my favourtie housemate of the series.
It also was great to see Gretel making an appearance too as I had a feeling it would happen but I'd preferd to see her at the Gold Coast rather than at stage. But that's life.

Yay for Terri, this was the first BBAUS I've ever watched and the final set up is much better than ours, a reflection of the series rather than last day highlights followed by quick interviews. We need no highlights and more interviews/features involving Evictees.

I JUST watched it, planned to watch it Monday but the torrent was so slow I didn't get the chance..if I didn't know who won already I think I would have had a heart attack, it was so close and changing and really, any one of them could have won - again one of the reasons I love BB Aus so much, that never happens in the UK.
Though could Kyle and Jackie have made it any more obvious Terri was the person they wanted to win? Poor Ben 'Ben is now in the lead, is that REAAAALLLY what you want?' lol
Great finale, I love that they show us what we want to see...the emotional family reunions, couples who had romances together on stage, people who had issues with each other on stage, asking about things that have happened that have been in the press since certain housemates left...and the dance number? total cringe, but awesome...can you imagine our lot doing something like that?
I had tears and sniffles for about the whole last 30 minutes of the show, and I never cry at TV.
I am gonna miss it so much, best BB in the world imho.

Jackie and the voice of big brother sugesting its not really the end but just having a break..if it was set in stone that it was gone for good would they leave it open ended like that.?
I would rather channel ten keep the show but give it a year or two out and then return with an amazing BB9 than another channel pick it up and change the format completely.
Lost interest after about daily show 2, as it was too much trouble finding the stream or waiting for the show to be uploaded.
But watching the best bits of all the bbs kinda upset me at the end, despite having only ever watched a few episodes, as it reminded me of how sad a BBUK axing would be.
I watched the news report on network 10 the day it was axed and have to laugh at 'Doona dance', 'bum dance' and 'turkey slapper', what wierd highlights.
I bet if BBUK were to be axed, they'd be less open about it on the show as we brits are more reserved.
The finale for the last BBUK would be exactly the same as usual but would end without davina saying see you next year.
