I've stayed away from the forum the past few weeks due to way too many spoilers, but thought I'd pop in and say hi now it's over.

Must admit I wouldn't have minded who won out of the final 4. However on the night I was surprised that Adam won. I think overall Ryan played the better game of the two.

However, I feel this has set a really bad precedent for the show. As others have commented, up to now the winner was usually decided on who was judged the better gameplayer, etc. where as this decision seems based mainly on the fact that Adam is going to give $100,000 to charity. So is this how it is going to be from now on?
I think this season set so many bad precedents for future big brothers...lets just hope players in BB10 dont play try to clone the gameplans of the BB9 HMs.
Also I hope we dont get another series with a revolving door when a hm gets evicted..once out then stay out.

Apparentely they're getting all strangers next season as well as more older people and a more diverse cast. If this is true BB10 sounds really promising.

I really enjoyed the finale!

I am sooooooo happy that Adam beat Ryan! Especially as it was by so many votes. I think Ryans biggest error was saying that he would have given some money to charity, i dont believe that for one second. He only said it as Adam was.

But the best part of it all was James winnning the cash!!! Woop woop! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo pleased for him and imo he deffo deserved it.

Overall i have enjoyed my first season of BBUSA and i would deffo watch some others!

Bring on BBUK!!!

Exactly..
It was my first BBUSA also and I really enjoyed it.

I think Adam deserved to win. He's a genuinely nice guy.
He may not have played as good a game as Ryan but I still think he did good.

And I was thrilled James won the money too. Yeah felt sorry for Sheila but good God that woman is a moaner. Is it any wonder she didn't get anything.

The only thing that bothers me now is I think watching
the UK Big Brother will be boring in comparison.

Sheila cracked me up - what was all the turning on Adam all about! And then I feared she would give her vote to Ryan!

Didn't realise Joshua disliked Adam so much

Was glad James won the moneym he deserved it with all his crap he put up with but sad for Sheila - always coming 2nd isnt she!

Was glad to see him win of the two.

Wanted Sheila to win, though!

Was really happy she gave her vote to him, and showed some loyalty.

This big brother and in particular the choosing of the winner, is so different from ours where obviously the winner is picked by the public as the one who most entertained them and was the best housemate, this one was based on who lied to their face best and played the most deceitful game, its all a bit odd. I enjoy our big brother as sort of people you get to know by watching who can make you laugh through the summer, but with the US one and the lack of public interaction i found it all a bit exclusive and harsh. Nonetheless i did enjoy watching how another bb from another place in the world is played.

I wasn't, I couldn't stand the guy. I wanted to like him and up until he went back in the house I did, but then he just became a huge hypocrite. Taking the moral high ground whilst ignoring the fact that he had done (and was doing) exactly the same things that he was acusing the others of. Moaning that the whole house was against him, whilst ignoring the fact that he did have support and that hi alliance happily gaged up on others. Blaming Chelsia for his eviction upon entering the sequester houce.

Like I said, I did like him up to a point, but his total lack of self awareness, or ability to shoulder responsibility for his own actions just turned me off him.

How funny, the audience were hilarious..
Having been to many uk evictions, it was so funny to watch..
the audience sat down.. not a lot of emotion

I loved the questioning..

Nat & Josh were both awful, nat looked totally deranged.

Glad adam won, I had forgotten how awful Jen, who gets part of Ryans share.. was
Brilliant.

Natalie ALWAYS looked deranged. Lol.
And I agree, although I quite liked Jen in the house (up until the racist comments), I thought she was truly awful outside. Allison handled her remarks with dignity, imo.

MRS LAWSON I missed it too because my E4 was playing up. I watched it on 4 on Demand. You can watch anything you've missed on Ch4, E4 etc. in the past 30 days for free. Go the channel 4 website and click 'Demand' then follow the instructions.

I really wanted Sheila/Sharon to win
But adam'll do.

But I thought he wouldn't even be in the house anymore after his 'retard' comment.
