My idea was for a National "Pride in our Armed Forces Day"
The idea is that you could write down how proud you are of those who are serving in our armed forces and it would be sent to a random serving soldier (or navy, airman etc).
I'm sure they would appreciate a card from a stranger expressing their gratitude in the work they are doing.

As I have a brother in the Army, I know I would support something like that; especially as he is about to head out to Iraq soon. Though with the current climate, the government would slap a tax on the card, tax on the postage and then tax on the soldiers receiving the cards. They would see it is a self-sustaining way to pay for the troops, they sent out there in the first place.
