Frances's pen

(Not sure where the apostrophe should go in that title....)

But - for God's sake - is the best SRA's stationery budget run to one of those freaky pens that writes in four different colour options??
I mean, really (even I write with a Parker and I'm not on TV)

What do we think she does with her pen?

I think she does Sudoku all afternoon, with doodles of SrAlan in the margins.

Is it not Frances' pen? We should call the editor of the Telegraph.

I only ever write with those pens. But when the blue runs out I have to buy a new one. :embarrassed smilie:

I didn't notice her pen, but her phone is cool! The receiver is exactly flush with the block so it forms a nice square when she puts it down.

Who is for a Frances Appreciation thread?

Grammatically correct.

But following the guidelines in ''The Elements of Style'' by Strunk and White, a writer would use ''Frances's pen''

I think Francis' pen-is mightier than the sword (note the apostrophe in Francis)

I did notice that she has very thin arms. She needs feeding up.

I love those 4 coulered pens, at work we need to use, Black, Green & Red so it is much handier to carry 1 pen with all of them on than 3 pens.

I blame all that doodling she's been doing for the past 3 years...

(either that or she's very 'close' to SAS).
