SAS said before the series starts that he thought these were the best tasks yet.....

Is anyone else completly underwhelmed by the tasks so far this series???

The card one in particular was pretty rubbish, as was the laundray and selling fish.....

They just all seem a bit lame.....

anyone any thoughts?

Sorry to disagree but I think they've been quite good tasks, it's just the candidates are so rubbish at them it can be hard to tell!

maybe, maybe its the change in the way programme doesnt seem to focus on the task as much and more the bitching!!!!

Is there a task coming up where they have to produce an advert and then present to the audience? They are usually my favourite ones.

I know what you mean about focusing on the bitching.

I only watched from the shopping channel one last series and I hope they have that one again it was brilliant (for entertainment rather than ability reasons!)

Next week's task should live up to expectations - the shopping task in Morocco - could be the best ever (or, hopefully, the best ever boardroom!)

Last night's task was particularly hard, in a business where it's already a jungle and everyone who ever had a joke published in their school newspaper thinks they're the next Gary Larsen. It's like trying to invent the next Harry Potter, overnight.

The "green" concept should have been included as a secondary idea (recycled cardstock, or whatever)

The Singles idea was OK, but pitched on the wrong day. Surely some people don't realise they're single until after Feb 14th? An "anti-Valentine's" (note the apostrophe ) should surely be something like August 14th, six months on? In any case, there's too much underlying angst to make light of singledom; and half the cards sent on Val's day are not to sweethearts, so the Yankee stats tell us: they're sent within families, thus partly stealing the idea already.

Having to think up a new "day" was a non-starter. Better to think of newer ways to celebrate birthdays, etc.
