Could Lucinda actually be a contendor to win?

When I saw their pforil pictures before the show started, I thought she would be first out (no idea why). She has huge public support (not that that counts) but Sir Alan seems to see certain potential in her as only her and Alex have been kept twice by Sir Alan. I don't think Lucinda will go in the supposedly double firing next week which means she will probably make the top 8. Is she a contendor to win?!
Hope so

Who knows? SAS's criteria is so nebulous it's hard to know who he's going to pick. Though, if past trends are anything to go by, the good sales person will be dumped in favour of the less competent "all-rounder".

Lucinda's neither a good salesperson nor a good all-rounder, so I think the best we can hope for is a firing "with regret". Don't see it happening though - he never regrets firing the posh ones.

Then that only leaves 7 people.

Raef or Alex I cannot see getting hired (probably get to the last 5 but deffo not hired).

Claire certainly won't get hired and if Lucinda doesn't that just leaves Sara and Helene

So that's Lee, Sara and Helene. hmmm
I do think final 5 will be Lucinda, Helene, Sara, Lee and Raef actually

I definetely think she could. If you remember Simon , he didn't do anything notable all series (business wise anyway) except sell a painting.

Don't for get those wheelchairs!

Lucinda's definitely a contender - personally I think Sir Alan has his eye on Raef.

Seeing as she allegedly is one of the two people who are fired simultaneously by Sralan in a future episode, I think not.

I dont think she will make it to the semi-finals. To me she comes across as lazy except when it benifitted her. She started off leading the task wekk then flunked it on day 2.

Claire's also been kept more than once but Surallan!

When you say "kept" do you mean as in a "kept woman"

There is an interview with Nick and Margaret in todays Daily Mail. Nick rates Alex very highly whilst Margaret rates Lucinda highly. Those were the only two candidates that they gave their opinion about.

Now I think that interview in The Mirror gave away a lot more than I had initially thought. By that , I'd guess the top 5 to be Raef,Lucinda, Helene,Alex and Claire.

The job this year - managing the investment portfolio for one of the Sugar aompanies, as I understand it - also means Surallun is likely to favour someone level headed with good financial sense and some polish over a salesperson.

I hope she has a chance of winning too, but did you have to put a spoiler about what happens next week in your post? Please use spoiler warnings or spoiler tags!

I don't think so. The reason being that she tends to get dragged down by all the bitching, rather than be able to rise above it.

I do love her though.

no, I don't think she'll win, but I do have a job for her after the series has ended. She could be the nodding dog on the Churchill adverts as all she seems to do is smile and not. AARGH! it really irritates me

i think she could make it very far but I just don't see her winning. I think she might be seen as not tough enough for his business in SAS eyes. Needless to say if she did win I would be quite happy

It is only speculation, not a spoiler

Well the spoiler on this site got it wrong this week and I believe has it wrong for next week as well. I gather we will all be cheering from the rooftops when we see who goes next Wednesday.

Don't rule out Lucinda yet!

Don't rule her out. She is a bit of a dark horse IMO

I hope that portfolio is the one that invests in deposit accounts and the most the candidate/employee has to do is check out the best rates, in that case!

I really hope Lucinda will win...
she deserves it; she tels the truth, and is picked on unfairly..
and she passed with flying colous when she was project manager, and helps out every single week in a brillinat way...

Lucinda to win!

I think she has a good chance. She has shown herself to be shrewd and well organised. She perhaps needs to be more a little more forceful, but not so much as the other power-crazed egocentric females. We don't know what the job is, do we? Perhaps there's no need for her to be a bossy-boots.
I also like her individuality. She dresses in her own style and isn't a black suited clone.

I'd like Lucinda to win - the problem I have with the Apprentice though is that it was all filmed months ago and so many people know who the final two are. After all they have been working for him for several months (well one anyway!) at his Amstrad empire and everyone else has gone back to their old jobs/other jobs. I'm just surprised that more leaks don't happen.
