I'd say mushrooms are quite unpopular, I know a lot of people that don't like them!

not according to a previous thread.
I'd go with things like liver and kidney being unpopular.

I don't think I know anyone that doesn't like mushrooms, but then I haven't asked everyone I know if they like mushrooms so I could know someone.

I would agree with offal being pretty unpopular.

My ole dad used to happily eat tripe & onions.

Pigs trotters were another favourite.

No matter how many top chefs try to bring them back, I don't see them picking up where they left off, somehow.

My dad too, he loved a dish my mum used to cook called lambs fry, liver and onions. My brother, sister and I used to dry wretch.

anchovy, olives, avocado

personally I love all them, but I think a lot of people don't and they're probably considered fairly unpopular in general. Probably a love em or hate em thing.

I'm vegetarian, but allergic to mushrooms. It can make life pretty difficult when at a restaurant, as mushrooms feature strongly on most veggie menus!

The food that you would actually burn more energy eating it, then you would get from the celery itself.

Things you don't see often are offal & tripe

Raw it's horrible but a must for lots of cooking. Stocks/soups/gumbo/creole etc.

Aw, c'mon Pam, Avocado has the texture of soap and Olives taste of the stuff!
I will admit to chopping up Olives extra, extra small when doing an Arrabiatta pasta sauce but that's as far as I go with the bloody things!

Marmite, olives, offal.

I don't really like tomatoes and celery raw but I will eat them and I like them cooked.

Oh and that mayonaisse stuff and salad cream are horrid too.
