Why didn't she just tell him??? Makes you wonder, they always do thinkgs like that don't they?
Well, reason one is because it doesn't make for good viewning not to complicate things
Reason 2, because maybe Laura wanted him to soften to her naturally rather than want her back because of the baby.
He really is being unecessarily evil to her though. She made a mistake, but he did the deed before she did, so he broke the trust. She may have slept with Gary as a subconcious revnge thing. Laura was so good to him when he became bankrupt, stood by him alll the way, p[ulled him up from the gutter and got him well and truly on his feet again.
Laura also owned all of that in name, Ian tricked her into signing it all over to Pauline, Phil was helping her by lending and paying for his lawyer for her, has anything else happened with that? She should take Ian to the cleaners, she has every right.

What she did (Laura) last night was to give Ian the opportunity to act like a reasonable human being. They are still married after all. Now that he has spurned her and the baby, she can sue him for divorce and maintenance/ CSA without compunction or reservation. She will want to ruin him, but won't be able to because she loves his kids too much. But she will try and bring him to his knees.

Thats what would happen in Real life but this is Soapworld where nobody ventures outside their area without it being in a wooden box. It will probably be dragged out with Gary as the father as Ian slowly but surely realises that it might be his then on probably Christmas day it will be revealed as Ian is the father. Or is there still a chance ist's Rickys?
Doesn't Barry and Natalie's kid look like Ricky? Anyway, how on earth can he afford to pay a nanny? Does he get maintenance or CSA money from Bianca?
