Nice phone, hopefully should sell more than the 5510, which failed miserably.

I recently bought a 5510 from E-Bay. It's a great little phone. The MP3 (AAC) player and FM radio are brilliant. I believe that the multimedia side of the 3300 is the same. It's just in a new housing (without the qwerty keyboard) and with a colour screen.

I have just got myself one of these phones.

v.nice so far, the mp3 player is a great toy

Just wanted to get a wallpaper on to the phone, is there any way to get .jpg's from my PC via the USB interface onto the phone.

The only .jpg's that I can access are tin the "gallery" floder which does not seem to be accesible from my PC.

Any ideas or work arounds?

Cheers

It seems (as i´ve also read in many other forums) that Nokia keeps the people from accessing the internal memory (gallery) to make them download stuff from wapsites. Quite a pain in the arse!!!

Anyway..did u also have troubles with the cable. Anytime I connect the phone to USB, all my ringtone settings (Profiles and Caller groups) completely change or get mixed up. It sounds funny, but it really finishes me off!!!!!

Any ideas on that issue?

regards

The only way i've found to upload my own images are as follows. Create an image that is 256x256 pixels.

You can then upload it to a website or post the image on a site like this for example and then put either the web address or the image properties into your wap and download it that way. It saves straight into your images folder as well. Here's an example of one I put together and it comes out quite well.

right click on image and use the properties.

or just type the below into your wap settings.

hope that helps, this is not a spam message, I only joined to reply as I'm looking for a way to improve my 3300.

No, i heard u can create a new kind of folder.. then put the images there.

It is possible with Oxygen Phone Manager without adding new folders etc.

Cheers, 2 things though,

1 - Any Idea where it can be downloaded FOC.

2 - Does not state that it's compatable with the 3300 yet.
