It's a difficult situation if ALW actually really doesn't like her because, Rachel is obviously pretty talented based on her experience and training. It's pretty hard to say, well you have a good voice and everything but I just don't like you.”

Fran was pro too, with a role in Rent which was a bigger play than Tonight's the Night imo. didn't work for her.

Well that was the problem. The media and show focussed so much on Fran's expereince and connection to DVO that it hurt her. They really havent' as much with Rachel, so Rachel has been able to avoid any negativity on that front.

Has it crossed your mind that maybe that was said as a joke?

Jesus, every post of yours I come across manages to make some dig at Rachel regardless of whether the thread's even about her. OK, she's not everyone's cup of tea but cut the girl some slack

thanks for you interaction......however it is my opinion that she should not be in the competition...she sings out of tune and forgets her lines.......her voice cracks.....and she is supposed to be the professional....and guess what..... maybe it wasnt a joke.....

In my opinion

Want to try being a little more patronising?

If she shouldn't be in the competition then you can rule out Sam, Niamh and Ashley on exactly the same basis but they seem to escape your constant criticism

Try watching her singing The Way We Were and tell me just where she's out of tune on that

I don't mean to sound cruel or bitchy, and I am starting to like rachel, but she does something with her mouth which i can't explain that reminds me of the grinch

Heh heh. They did show us her 'tears' tonight when they showed the VT her after she'd sung one of ALW's songs for ALW himself which she, apparently, just found so "overwhelming". Fortunately, IMO, they showed it well after the voting lines had closed as I don't think her show of emotion will have done her any favours (well not if I had been considering voting for her, which of course I wasn't ).

LOL. Yes come to think of it she does look like the Grinch.

She is just unlikeable for kids, she would be better off in adult roles or as a temptress.

Rachel's face is wonky as she admitted in one of her vt's, and there's nothing she can do about it. But it doesn't help being seen singing close up on TV and but the problem is with the viewers if they don't like her for it.
