Is the Panasonic DMR-EX75 multi-region? If not, can it be made multi-region?

I bought a Multi-Region but......
It was already made Multi-Region for me, but as a rule its Region 2 only.
Have a look in the WWW and type in TV hacks and see if yuou can find it, you might need a Universal remote and possibly a PDA but have a wee look first, if you go onto Amazon and type in your DVDr title ie Panasonic EX75 you might get some information there, this is the best I can tell you but the best of luck anyway. |

DMR-EX75 Multi Region
Panasonic UK only do Region 2 with no DivX but many graded ones for sale are region-0 and some dealers will change it on a new one for £10, I just bought one supposed to be region-0 but still sealed and region-2. Some European ones are region-0 with DivX but I was warned may be problem with their Freeview tuner in UK, I was looking on ebay for a hack and this looks best buy as it will unlock 8 recorders and still act as a spare remote.

A special remote is required to make Panasonic units Multiregion.
See this thread for details:http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=672416 Regarding Contax comments above about DivX: Panasonic 2008 DVDR models DO support DivX. 2007 and earlier do not. |
