Yes - she was playing 'Palladio' by Karl Jenkins

You can watch the original here.

i'd be really disappointed having myleene as the prize for winning the task. no offence against myleen but the luxury spa breaks or yacht trips etc make winning so much more worthwhile.

I get the distinct feeling SAS is not as wealthy as he used to be!

Stageworks Worldwide Productions should be prosecuted.

That piece of music is called The Awakening in the circballet Eclipse and Joe O'Connor is credited as the composer.

I dug out my cd of Eclipse to confirm this because that was the second time I'd heard music from Eclipse in this series of The Apprentice.

Anyone else back me up on this one?

Does SAS actually fork out for it, and not the BBC?

Myleene works for the BBC on and off, I'm sure they got a discount!

No, that piece of music is definitely the Allegretto movement from Karl Jenkins' 'Palladio'. The original is played just by strings (as used on the old DeBeers diamond advert). Perhaps this Joe O'Connner arranged it, to include a piano ?

Is there any TV show that Myleene hasn't been on?

I'm not disagreeing with you.

The music is used in Eclipse and on the cd,Joe O'Connor is credited as being the composer.

That is why I said that Stageworks Worldwide Productions should be prosecuted for plagiarism.

Aah, see what you mean; yes, that is a naughty thing for them to do. It's not as if it's an obscure piece of music either, which they might've got away with.

This isn't about classical music - but does anyone know what the song played behind Sara's " Best Bits" on last week's " You're Fired!" was ??
It was a girl singer, and sounded something like - " I know exactly who I am." Sorry to lower the tone!
