This lot are way too nice.

She'd never have let Rachel get away with that screech

All we hear is sensational... fantastic... world class. Who are they trying to convince?? It's like they're watching something else!

They need a judge like Craig Revel Horwood from SCD - he always gives an honest opinion.

This panel is so bland it makes my toes curl.

Isn't he also a vocal coach as well? He would be great on a show like this!

I wonder who Zoe's favourite would be? I reckon she's like Sarah and Naihm... because of their vocals. But I've not been reading her column in The Stage. Anyone know who she's backing?

I do think this show is lacking Zoe's presense though.

Barry is way to 'pervy'. I think he's more interested in what the girls are wearing.

Zoe wasn't bitchy, she just didn't fuss about telling lies and telling people their performances were great when they weren't. If some people can't hold it together for 2 minutes on a Saturday night, how are they supposed to do 8 shows a week? Zoe told it straight, and that's what IDA lacks.

Yes but Zoe was only biased towards good singers and although this is important she never took into account the whole package.

But this is a musical we're casting. Acting can be taught, movement can be directed, and hair and make-up can sort appearance. As much as a whole package is idea, if they can't sing, it's not a good starting place to cast a leading man/lady for a musical

Let's ban all heterosexual men and live in a world where all men hate women's bodies. Down with straight men. i mean there just aren't enough gay guys on this show

Disagree, it's easier to teach a bad singer than it is a bad actor. Besides, in Guys and Dolls Marlon Brando was crap at singing Luck be A Lady, still a great performance.

I miss Zoe, I think it would benefit to have a vocal or acting coach on the panel - makes sense as they will have a wide knowledge of the technical side. I do like John, and think Denise is ok, but I'm not sure i needed another series of Denise as a panel 'expert' and John is being a little brash for my liking. I appreciate they have both been on stage but I am not always convinced by their critique. I liked the panel last year, there was a bit of flirting and fun to go with the opinions.

yes, he was a coreographer in hdysaplm i think or maybe this one? anyway, would love him as a judge and adore zoe as well.

i wouldn't be too sure if zoe would say much about rachel though as in one review she loved Ashley

I agree. They got rid of the wrong person and BH hasn't made up for it. They should have kept Zoe and replaced either JB or DVO.

Zoe just told it how it was.

First and foremost, Zoe judged the contestants singing/voice. If a contestant couldn't sing well enough for the role, then what's the point in considering the whole package?

A contestant could look the part and be a good actor but if their singing wasn't up to scratch, then they're not really a contender are they?

I miss Zoe - she had her biases but at least she'll tell people when they're out of tune! The amount of sycophantic rubbish this year's lot are coming out with is embarrassing.

this is what i was saying about Rex Harrison as well.

anyway, about Zoe, was she just not in to a scheduling thing with Loose Women and other projects, or did they fire her?
