I am glad Scott Matheson enjoyed Ashleys performance and explained the reason for the accent (original Fosse choreography). It would have been good if ALW had explained to the viewers why he had directed her to do the accent in the first place instead of leaving her, yet again, wide opened to criticism - but then - why would he?
Regardless I loved it and felt she deserved my vote

Well, that's no fun, is it?

Seriously, thanks to everyone for the support.

Out of interest, who do you want to win?

Honestly, I have no idea. I think right now that any of the remaining six could do the job. I still have reservations about Jessie's acting when she's not singing, but if she works really hard between now and December when previews start she could fix those problems, which are mainly down to inexperience and anxiety.

Love your blog. Great to read a considered response that's not pandering to some of the siller things said by the panel.

It is never fun we people are so cruel for the sake of it. That is what I like about your summaries (although I don’t always agree with them 100%) they are objectively fair.

Agree with it I suppose except Samantha, IMO she didnt sing and dance well, her singing was abysmal.

Thank you Scott for your weekly reviews. I wait for it every week, even though I don't always agree!

I totally agree with that! Maybe Scott could be on the panel next time, as he seems to hear what the rest of us hear each week!

That's quite a good idea! He would be a better replacement for Zoe than BH or any other celeb.

I think her column is in the print version of the paper only.

I think you're right. I wondered how her comments compared to the panel's comments.
