He's absolutely vile! Can't stand him, he seems to have been on the losing team almost every week!

Alex is IMO one of the worst left at the moment. I have disliked him since the first task when he totally scapegoated Nicholas in the fish task right from the start - even before Nicholas made the lobster pricing error. You could see his game plan from the word go IMO - out to make someone else look bad therefore not working as a team.

He has done this in every task since, its like he singles out someone in his own team and picks at all their faults so as to save his own skin if it comes down to it. He is so transparent and actually, while I think Claire is a bit of a snake too at least she is good at her job from what I've seen, whereas I have seen no evidence of Alex actually being any good.

He is seriously snidey.

He seems to do practially no work. Everytime the camera is on him he has a sneer on his face.
In the photography task all he did was make things difficult for Simon and he was REALLY unhelpful. In the ice cream task again, all he did was complain.
Last week in the environmental card task, he knew it was a bad idea, but he sat beside Kevin in the car and just pulled faces and rolled his eyes.
He makes things difficult for the PM, and bitches behind their backs, yet he never contributes any help at all. Just sits there and watches them struggle, nice!!
His plan seems to be stay in the background and do nothing so that he won't be brought into the boardroom, and yet he openly criticised Sara for doing the same, when in fact she has always worked far harder than him.

I thought he was OK week one, but in hindsight he would have been no loss. He seems to lack in any leadership skills and I don't ever remember him inputting a good idea or doing anything useful.

Thank you The Rhydler - I did not resort to text speak and I think I put my argument across. That's the problem, as I have already stated, if other people think someone is attractive, they constantly go on about it in the way that someone can only like that person because of it.

Yes you can. Arse-coverers may be good at justifying themselves whilst dropping other people in it, but they rarely contribute anything of great importance - because if they take something on and fail at it, they've got less room to blame-shift. Alex is shrewd, but he hasn't done anything substantial all series. You have to be shrewd and active, not some weasely passive whiner hanging back from the foray.

Lets hope he can prove himself next week then

Alex is my least favourite candidate.

He has a whiney expression, a whiney manner and a whiney voice.

He's not excelled on any of the tasks and he failed miserably as team leader.

He's had 8 weeks to prove himself. It would be too little too late.

Alex was pretty rubbish in the first task. He was a blame merchant who tried to push the blame on to Nicholas and Raef. Yes, Nicholas and Raef made mistakes but so did everyone. However, Nicholas was the right person to be fired then because he was useless and whiny and Alex at least volunteered to be PM.

Alex was at his best in the laundry task – he was worked too hard by Simon to get up to any scheming and Raef was very focussed as PM. Since then Alex has shirked and stepped back and basically been a male version of Claire, only worse – undermining the PM and refusing to take responsibility for anything then pinning everything on Claire if/when it goes wrong.

Because clearly Alex is not 'fab' as a buisnessman by any stretch of the imagination. He's is in fact a rubbish at all things .

I think the fabness you are attributing to him is because of his boyband looks, rather than his buisness acumen, which is fine so jus admit it, really its ok.

If he loked like jonny vegas im sure you wouldn't be simpering over how fab he is.
